Chapter 7

Libby's POV.

"Danny, are you in the living room?" Cole shouted, and then I could hear footsteps making their way to the living room. I'm not ready, I'm not ready, I kept chanting in my head. Just then Danny jumps up from where he's sitting and runs out the living room.

"Sup Cole." I hear Danny say using my wolf hearing.

"Sup; has the Shadow Fire Pack arrived yet?" Cole asked Danny then heard Cole putting some bags down.

"Yeh they have, they're in the living room." Danny told him.

"Well I'll go introduce myself." Cole said then I heard footsteps. I started to panic.

"Shhhh calm down." Jake soothed rubbing my arm to relax me and it worked but I wasn't ready to see Cole yet, I know I was going to have to see him but I'm not ready.

"Cole, wait, I put some files on your desk that really need going over ASAP." Danny rushed out.

"Ok but do send in the Alpha of the Shadow Fire Pack." Cole demanded then started making his way to what I'm guessing is his office. Danny walked back into the living room and Chad left already hearing. Danny sat back down on the sofa.

"Thanks Danny." I smiled a small smile at him.

"No problem. You started to panic a bit when you heard him so I assumed you weren't ready to see him yet," he smiled back. We all went back to watching the movie. About twenty minutes later Chad came back into the living room and sat down. I looked at him but he just smiled and went back to watching the movie. When the movie had finished I stood up.

"I'm going for a run I will be back soon." I said and they all nodded at me.

"Don't worry you won't be attacked by any of our pack members." Danny told me. I nodded and bent down and gave Jake a kiss then left. I ran until I got to the forest edge then shifted. I ran and ran then got pretty far into the forest and decided to turn back. When I got back to the pack house I noticed that almost all the lights were out. How long was I running for? I wondered as I made my way up the steps and through the door.

"Good you're back," a voice said to me coming from the stairs. I looked over to see Danny sitting on the stairs.

"Yeah." I looked at the clock and saw that I had been out a few hours. Wow I didn't realize I had been out that long.

"Listen Libby you have to know that I am really, really sorry for what I did to you." Danny said standing up and walking over to me.

"Stop." I told him, "Danny you hurt me so much, the only person I had was Amy. I didn't have you, my mate or the pack and then the only time I would see Amy would be at school and when she came round to the pack house which wasn't very often. I would be forced to stay here, clean, cook dinner, make lunch and breakfast. I wouldn't be able to do anything." Danny just looked down at the floor. "Listen I'm not just going to forgive you. I'm not some weak little girl anymore Danny, I'm strong, I'm a pack warrior and I'm pretty sure I could kick your ass, any of this pathetic packs ass. Now just see whose weak Danny, not me. I don't even know if I will ever be able to forgive you for what you did," and with that I stormed up the stairs and to the room I was staying in. Once I got in there I heard Danny walking back up the stairs and down the hallway then I heard a door close. I sat there for about ten minutes then I decided to get off my bed and walk out the door.
