Hyunjin fell onto the couch, out of breath, after running back home. They barely made it back in time, but at least no one will be hurt.

"Can we plan a stroll a little further away from curfew? Thanks." Hyunjin complained, "Plus it was raining, why did we go out in the first place? And why did Chan almost fight Min-"

"Hyunjin, can you just shut up? Thanks." Seungmin interrupted with a sigh following.

The boys have always acted like this towards each other, mainly because they never have interactions with anyone else, ever. They only have each other.

"Wow, Seungmin actually standing up to Hyunjin? That's a first." Jeongin teased.

"Whatever Jeongin." Seungmin shot back.

Suddenly, a loud crash came from the end of the street. All of the boys in the main room of their house jumped. Every night they heard this crash, yet it still made them jump. It was the gate to their district closing. They weren't right next to it, but the crash was loud enough to shake the whole area. This happens every night at curfew to make sure no one has left. This is also how they catch those that are late. There is no getting around the gate, you have to be caught in order to be let back in. Stray Kids knew all about it, since they have been caught numerous times.

9:23pm

After hours of laying around and bickering with each other, one by one they started to fall asleep. In their house, there wasn't enough space for beds for all of them, so they rotated on who slept on the two beds and couches, and who slept on the floor. Normally it's never a problem. Changbin and Felix passed out in the two beds, and Hyunjin and Woojin fell asleep on the couches. The others were spread out on the floor, some up against the couches.

Just before the last one, Jeongin, fell asleep, there was an abrupt slamming on the door. He jumped up and immediately woke up Chan.

"What the hell??" Chan questioned, he was aggravated from being woken up. He immediately heard the continuous banging on the door. He quickly got up, and as he did, the other members started to wake up one by one. All except Felix and Changbin, the heaviest sleepers.

Chan opened the door to find a teenage boy a their front door. Before the boy has a chance to speak, Chan slams the door shut and turns towards the others.

"Excuse me, how did he get in the District??" Jisung questions.

"It's after curfew! The gate is closed. There shouldn't have been a way for him to get in!" Seungmin adds.

"Listen" Chan stops all of the questions, "Don't you think I know that? I'm just as confused as you are."

"Bring him in." Woojin demands.

"Are you crazy?! This kid could get us in major trouble if we are caught with him." Jeongin interjects.

"I said listen! Woojin, it's a bad idea. But it might be all we have right now. This kid is obviously lost."

"Chan, since when have you, or any of us, ever cared about someone from the outside?? Never." Jeongin states, desperate to keep this kid out.

Ignoring the others, he reopens the door. The boy is still there, and Chan looks down at him. "Get inside." He grabs the boy and drags him in.

The boy stumbles in, and he stands in the middle of the room, all eyes on him. "L-Listen, I ran away from home and I'm just looking for someone to take me in for a while. Please."

Jisung interrupts, "How did you get in the District?"

Chan punches him in the arm, "How about you shut up?" He turns towards the kid, "Listen, I'm sorry you're lost mate, but we aren't gonna risk our lives for some kid.

"Please," tears started to fall from the boy's eyes, "just for a little bit. It won't be long. I just.. can't stay home any longer."

"And how do we know that you aren't going to do anything to harm us?" Woojin questions.

"He doesn't even know our names Woojin, so I doubt he could cause any harm." Seungmin had a point.

Chan motioned the others to come to where Chan was, and they followed. They talked about if keeping the kid is a good idea. "This kid could cause so much harm if he is caught by the District, but he looks desperate. Imagine how you felt when looking for refuge here in the District. He probably feels the same way. He can stay, only if we keep a low profile. No crimes until he leaves." Chan explained.

They all disbanded from the area they were in, and they looked back at the kid.

"You can stay. But I swear if you bring any harm to the people in this room, I'll come after you. And believe me, I will." Chan stated with a threatening tone.

"Thank you so much. I'm Alexander, but I guess you guys can just call me Alex." The boy bowed in gratitude.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Go in another room and go to bed. Don't touch anything." Hyunjin dismissed the child.

After the boy had left the room, the others began to settle down. Through all of that, Felix and Changbin were still asleep. Jeongin was sitting up, trying to process what happened.

"You know, he never explained how he got in." Jeongin mentioned.

"This is the dumbest idea you have ever had." Seungmin directed it at Chan.

"It's whatever. We can deal with it more in the morning, go to sleep." Chan demanded.

Everyone remained silent, and they all drifted off to sleep.
