The day started out like any day normal Tuesday day for this young girl. She got up at 6:45 and left her home at 7:35 for school. She had curly brown hair, dark green eyes, and had a light skin tone. This is Rosetta Valerie Harth, or Rose for short. She let out a small sigh as she entered the gates of Marigold High. She then made her way to the middle of the quad to the big willow tree, where her friends were waiting for her. There under the tree were people who she was close to. There was her best friend Lily Shelton, very motherly, kind, and innocent. She had long red hair, emerald eyes, and a warm smile. Next to her was her boyfriend Adrien Mcreen, a tall, quiet fellow with smoky black hair and ice blue eyes. Then there was Rena Parksen, Emily Henward, and Amy Chester, talking excitingly about their art. Rose faintly remembers when she would talk to them, very hyped up about their drawings. She turn to her right to see a group of guys laughing. She recognized some of them, Spencer, Ian, Vinny, and Junior. Rose was surrounded by her friends, but this didn't excite her. Lately nothing excites her. The world has become dull and cold to her. Giving one last glance at her friends, Rose made her way silently to class. There was nothing exciting in school, just reviewing old lessons. Rose didn't really pay attention to her lessons. She just stared out the window.
Huh, it's cloudy today, so...pretty
Rose was usually the only to love sunny days and despise cloudy rainy days, but lately she began preferring the gloomy weather. Her mind began to wonder how cloudy days were considered sad days. Suddenly a hand slammed down on her desk. Rose jumped out of surprise to see her math teacher who looked at her with a displeased expression.
"Miss Harth," the teacher began, "this zoning out of yours is unacceptable. You are behind now and this does not look good for your grades. My advice? Get your crap together!"
Rose just stared at him blankly.  She usually had a short temper and would snap and cuss out anyone including her elders.  However she didn't feel anger.  The fire in her died out long ago.  She simply nodded and looked back at her notebook.  Her teach gave her a disgust huff and stormed back to the front of the room.
The day went slower for Rose, with her mind shutting out the sounds around her.  She continued to feel... hollow inside.  At the end of school she began to walk home, by herself.  All her friends lived in the newer houses down the street, but she lived in the older houses,m by the cliffs.  As she was walking she looked up to see a girl.  It was Ash Sakai.  Ash was the only friend who walked the same way she did.  Ash was a mysterious girl, no one knew really anything about her, just that she was a transfer student from Japan five years ago.  She was a quiet person, and always has an icy look in her eyes.  Rose first met Ash after they took a test in the same class.  Ash recognized the books she was reading and the two became friends.  Even though Ash was more reserved, and always seemed mad, she was okay with Rose's bubbly personality and stayed as her friend.
"Oi", Ash called to Rose as she approach her.
"Hey Ash", Rose relied quietly.
The two began walking together up the road to their homes.  The two were silent all the way until Rose asked, "Are yo going to the game tonight?"
"No, I don't really enjoy them." Ash replied.
The two were silent again until they reached and intersection.  Ash said goodbye and went right towards a park while Rose went left and went up a hill.  As she walked up, she then had a wave of grief hit her and her eyes watered as she reached the white house at the end of the road.
