Dylan, Barbara, and Cami came running into the room.
"Cole is everything okay?" Dylan asked me.
"Lili, she uh." I was speechless. I was struggling to comprehend what had just happened. One minute we were joking about hospital food and the next she was on the floor. "She fainted, and the doctors won't let me see her." I tried to run out of the room, but Dylan grabbed my arm.
"Cole, you are sick yourself. Let the doctors look after Lili. And go back to bed." Dylan said quietly.
"Camila and I will go check on Lili, Dylan will stay here with you. Okay?" Barbara said gently. Barbara and Cami left the room, and Dylan sat in a chair pulled up to the bed.
"What if she's not okay Dylan? She seemed fine and then she just fainted." I muttered.
"Cole she will be fine. I promise you. She has a medical team with her right now. She'll be fine." Dylan sighed.
"Yeah I guess your right." I shrugged. I pulled out my laptop, and googled diseases that fainting is side affect of whilst Dylan looked on with disapproval. She's fine, he kept telling me, but google was telling me that she could have meningitis, some sort if brain cancer, she could be pregnant. I continued to have Dylan tell me that she would be okay but I fell down the rabbit hole of the internet. I was so engrossed in the internet that I almost didn't hear someone knocking on the door. My eyes darted to the door and I saw Lili standing in the doorway. I ran up to her and pulled her in for a hug. She had a cotton bud on her arm from where she had a blood test and she was wearing a hospital band.
"Is everything okay I was so worried about you?" I whispered to her.
"Cole, I hope this is good news but you might not think so but hopefully you do I mean I hope so." Lili babbled.
"Lili, is everything okay?" I asked her again.
"I'm pregnant." She grinned.
