Lili and I were in the elevator on our way to the roof.
"I'm so excited to meet her!" Lili grinned.
"Believe me she's excited to meet you." I grinned back. When the elevator opened, River was pacing on the roof top.
"Hey River." I called to her. She turned around, and her face instantly lit up.
"Oh my god." She whispered. "I'm actually meeting Lili Reinhart." I noticed tears rolling down her cheeks. Lili went over to her and gave her a hug.
"Thank you so much for watching Riverdale!" Lili smiled at her.
"Thank you for being so nice, and kind and for being someone I look up to." River said quietly.
"Aw you're so sweet you're going to make me cry." Lili laughed. We sat up there on the roof.
"So you're having a blood transfusion." River asked me.
"Yeah, are they painful?" I asked her.
"Nah, they only painful bit is the needle." She explained.
"Don't worry Cole, I'll be right there with you tomorrow, as will Dylan." Lili yawned, resting her head on my shoulder.
"You tired Lils?" I whispered to her. She nodded her head slowly.
"Hey River sorry to cut today's talk off but I think I should get this one to sleep." I said quietly.
"Omg do not be sorry. I got to meet one of the most amazing people ever. This is one of the most amazing days of my life." River squealed. She ran off to the elevator with Lili and I following. We got back to my room, and Lili and I both fell asleep on the hospital bed. When I woke up, I was almost instantly taken to a specialist ward for blood transfusions. They inserted the needle into my arm, and Lili squeezed my hand. Dylan arrived with Barbara a few minutes later. Dylan and I spent the next two hours being roasted by our girlfriends. When the transfusion was finally done, I spoke to the doctor about a treatment plan, and I was given a discharge date. I was going to be discharged in two days. I was then to rest for 3 days, and return to filming afterwards. I was to come back to the hospital once a week for a blood transfusion and regularly have checks. I had to take mountains of medication just to be stable.
