Chapter Four

I was standing talking to my best friend Alyssa when Lynox walked behind me grabbing my waist and kissed my neck.

"You two make marriage look so beautiful and fun." Alyssa said cooing.

I rolled my eyes and wiggled away from Lynox.

"I'm going to get a refill you want anything?" I asked the both of them.

Alyssa shook her head as Lynox handed me her cup and kissed my neck.

"Thank you baby." She said and turned around greeting her friends.

I chuckled rolling my eyes and went to the bar.

"Two hennys." I said to the bartender.

They handed me the drinks and I walked back wrapping my arms under Lynox handing her one of the drinks.

"Thanks Max baby." She said kissing my forehead and walked away with her friends.

I stared past her and bit my lip sighing as I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

"Boo you've been standing here stuck for five minutes what's wrong?" Alyssa said walking up to me.

I looked at her and licked my lips frowning.

"I'm just a little tipsy and in my head." I said chuckling weakly.

"Ok babe I'll go get Lyn just stay here Po." She said kissing my cheek.

I chugged the rest of my cup as Lynox came back with Alyssa.

She looked at me and rubbed her neck awkwardly.

I started walking to the door and snatched away when Lynox reached for my arm.

When we got to the car I slammed the door clenching my jaw looking dead ahead.

She got in the drivers seat and sighed looking at me.

"Who the fuck is Max?" I yelled

She touched my wrist and I snatched away hitting her chest.

"You're not going to fucking make me feel like I'm overreacting. You make secret phone calls and get jumpy and now you call me another bitch's name?" I said looking away as a tear slid down my cheek.

"Baby it's nobody. You're my wife I don't care about anybody else." She said kissing my hand.

I snatched my hand away and sat back looking out the window.

"Take me home." I said laying on my arm.

By the time we got home I was a lot calmer and all my drinks had finally kicked in.

Tori had text me asking if she could call and after I replied I set my phone on the middle console as we waited for the garage door to open to grab my heels off the floor.

Once she parked I got out and looked at her.

"You not coming?" I asked

She shook her head and turned the car off.

"I'm gonna sit here for a little bit." She said

I shrugged and went inside to take a shower.

After I was done I intended to put on clothes but ended up falling asleep in my towel on the bed.

LYNOX POV

I don't think she meant to but she left her phone on the console in the car.

Just as I was about to get out it rang and i fought with myself about answering it.

After the third ring I answered and before I could speak they did.

"Hey baby Im sorry I took so long it was a work thing. What's the matter love?" They said

I scoffed and cleared my throat before I spoke.

"My boss is calling me babygirl. Just try to get some sleep and don't let it bother you too much. Much love babe." They said and hung up.

When I tried to unlock her phone it kept saying the password was incorrect.

I scoffed and nodded my head.

"Two can play this way Po." I said getting out.
