Someone POV

Kasalukuyan madami na nainom si Jerry sa mini Island bar sa condo nito. Dinamayan siya sa kababatang nitong kaibigan na si Janna, ang babaeng pinagselusan ni Mabel.
''I felt sorry for her, and I have felt bad what happened our relationship end suddently.'' he said with a tears drop and the same time he look defeated. Naawa naman si Janna sa kanya dahil malaking pagsisi nito sa break-up nila Mabel.
''I'm so sorry. This is my fault, sana hindi nalang kita niyaya sa restaurant.'' regret na sabi ni Janna. Tumingala na si Jerry sabay yarok ng iniinom nitong alak. ''It's not your fault Janna. This my fault, dahil hindi ko pinag-laban ang babaeng mahal ko sa isang maliit na bagay na may kinalalaman sa ina ko.'' may poot sa damdamin na sabi nito.''I'm such a jerk to hurt the girl, na walang ibang hinahangad ay ibigin ako ng walang kulang.''
Lumapit sa kanya si Janna sabay alo nito sa may likuran ng binata.''I saw the sadness in your eyes but I didn't know what to say. I couldn't think of any thing to say that world  take your pain away. But right now, you need to think yourself. Dahil mapasama yan sa heart disease mo Jerry. Alalahanin mo na masamang mag damdam na masasakit at alam mo na yan. I'm sorry if you were regret your break up.'' mahabang mahinahon payo nitong sambit.
''I think I'm afraid to be happy because whenever I get too happy something bad always happens.'' he said while his hand covered on his face.
''Remember Jerry that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.'' payo ni Janna.
''I dont know what Im going to do. I can't face anymore the woman who love me and I dare to hurt her precious heart. I'm such a big loser right now Janna.'' tuluyan na bumagsak ang sarili nito sa sahig. Agad naman dahan-dahan ina-angat ng dalaga at inalalayan nya ito patungo sa kanyang kwarto.''Please dont let yourself suffered. Remember your not strong enough to figth this situation mo ngayon. ''Please stay with me for a while until I get fall asleep'' mahinang paki-usap nito sa dalaga. Wala naman magawa si Janna dahil niyakap na siya ng mahigpit. At nakatulog ang dalawa na nagyakapan when suddently someone peek the room secretly and took a picture.

Araw ng pasukan at hindi na gaanong masakit sa damdamin ang dinaramdam ng dalaga. Bagamat makikita parin ang lungkot nitong mukha. Tanging familya at kaibigan lang ang naka-alam sa hiwalayan nilang dalawa. Today Mabel have a lesson about chord progressions, rhythm. or melodic patterns. Pilit itong naka fucos sa lesson niya at iniwasan ang ayaw nitong isipin. Ngunit may mga mata na pilit din nitong iwasan, dahil nakatitig ito during her discussion.''Okay now, since you know what the method of chord, rhythm, and melodic. I have a homework that you need to search your favorite artists or music. And I need that done within a week. Okay, class dismissed!'' paalam nito at daling nagsilabasan ang mga studyante para sa break luch. Pero bago pa nakalabas si Mabel hinaharangan siya nito sa taong kanina pa nagmamasid sa kanya.
''Would you mind if I ask you to have a lunch with me?''he said with his confiddent.
Tumaas ang eyebrow ng dalaga.''I dont think so if it's good to a teacher having lunch with his student?''
'' Why not. it's just a lunch nothing wrong for that.''He grinned.
''Are you this charming with everyone or me only?
''Oh, only you.'' he grinned again.
Mabel laughed aloud.''Oh, yes you would. You're dreaming of it right now.
Jackson raised his brows approvingly.''That was very mature of you.''
''Ah really. Well, my time is running so I have to go. Saka N-O ako sa offer mo thank you. Doon ka nalang sa iba mag-yaya ng lunch kong gusto mo may kasama.''
Mabel just shook her head as she walked to the door. Having conversations with Jackson could be exhausting.
''Oh, Mabel!'' he called out.
She turned around. He smiled slyly.''I know you need someone to lend on. If you dont mind, you can use me as your shelter.''
Mabel raised her brows.''How charming you are. No, thank you Im not that poor so bad need a shelter.''
Mabel turned and walk away. But he heard him explode with laughter. Then she heard him shout out, ''Well, done, miss Angeles!''
And she realized that for the first time in years, her smile was one of pure, unadulterated joy.
