- You're 10 years old -

Y/n pov:

I was in my room looking at some old photos of my family.
I was a pureblood young witch, my dad always tells me that I'm the brightest witch of my generation
And that makes me really happy
Because I love magic!
.. even tho I only know some simple spells but still
I'm proud of myself.

I heard knocks on my door
"Come in"
I turned around on my chair and saw my parents.
" Y/n you have got a letter."
Mom smiled at me
"We are so proud of you."
Dad came closer to me and
handed me my letter.
It was my Hogwarts letter

I jumped up from my chair and hugged both of my parents.
I was so happy.

I woke up excited because it
Was my birthday.
For my birthday we always went
to different amusement parks.
But this year dad and I
wennt to Diagon Alley.
I got dressed and finished
My breakfast, then we went to
Diagon Alley.

It's amazing! I was really excited
To get my first wand.
I was getting everything that I needed for Hogwarts there.
"Y/n" I heard my dad's voice.
I came closer and saw a shop
With a lot of cats.
Dad knew that my favourite animal
Was a cat and that I always wanted
To have one.
"Which one would you like
To be your birthday present?"
I was looking at the small kittens
And I saw a black one, it was sleeping.
"The small black one"
I pointed my finger at the
seelping kitten
"Ok, I'll get him or her for you.
And you can go and buy your wand."

As I was walking, I was looking at all of the magical shops.
"Ollivander's hmmm, sure I'll check
It out."
I walked into the shop as a girl
Was leaving she had bushy brown
Hair. I smiled at her and she smiled
Back to me.
"Hello dear, how can I help you?"
A man asked me
"Hello sir, I'm here to buy my
First wand."
"Well your at the right place."
He smiled as he got up on a ladder
And picked out a box.

"Here let's see this one"
I picked up the wand and flicked it,
Books fell off the shelf.
"I'm sorry sir."
I put the wand down
"No problem, let's try this one."

He gave me another wand
"This is a 12 inch, unicorn hair."
I flicked it and a blue light appeared
around me.
"Very nice, that's the perfect wand
For you my dear."
"Thank you so much!"
I paid for the wand and left the store.

I saw my dad talking to a guy that
I recognised... it was Mr. Malfoy.
I waved to dad and he saw me
He came closer.
"Meet your new friend."
He showed me the black kitten
"Awww he's adorable." I hugged
The kitten
"It's a boy by the way."
"Well I'll call him... C/n, hi C/n!"
"Did you get your wand?"
"Yes I did, I think that we have
Everything my books, wand and C/n."
I said
"Good, but I have to get one more thing before we leave."
"Ok?"

Dad bought me a cake that could easily feed 15 people, but hey
I wouldn't mind eating the whole
Thing.
"Happy birthday Y/n."
Dad kissed my forehead
"Thanks dad!"
We took the cake home and spent
The whole day enjoying our family time.

I went to bed earlier than I would go usually, because tomorrow was a big day for me.. it was the 1st day of Hogwarts!
