Emilia dabs an alcohol filled cotton ball on the cut on my cheek, her steely eyes focused intently. I could feel the heat beneath her skin, and I could see her chest raising and falling in quick breaths. She was angry and I knew it.

But, she insisted on being calm. And it was somewhat more eerie than anything else. I could barely tell of any emotions on her face, as her facial expressions remaining unreadable.

"Em, say something." I plead, my hands coming up to rest on hers.

She takes a deep breath, pulling away and tossing the bloody puff into the trash bin. She reaches for the medical kit, pulling out some ointment and a bandage. Completely ignoring my gaze and words.

I blow out a breath, turning my head as she tries to apply the healing cream.

"Stop. Talk to me."

Finally, her gaze falls on my face and I almost wished it hadn't. Because if looks could kill, my ass would be at least twenty feet under. I automatically flinch at the coldness lurking in the depths of her beautiful bright eyes.

"Talk to you?" Her voice contained barely restrained anger. "I have nothing to say to you."

"Baby, I know you're mad..."

She cuts me off, her hands landing beside my thighs as I sat on the sink. She hits it with a loud thud, causing me to jump as a reaction.

"Mad?" She laughs, and this darkness fills her eyes as she does. "Mad doesn't even reach the levels of murderous I'm feeling."

I swallow, clenching my fists into my lap. "Emilia, she's been an issue. I just had to let her know..."

"Know what? Know to stay away and out for good? Sophia, the bitch is fucking crazy. God knows what she could've done to you. And I wouldn't have been there to protect you. To save you." She sighs, running a hand through her hair.

I lean forward, grabbing her face between my hands to make her look directly at me. "I'm here. And I'm safe. I just needed to talk to her. To find out the truth of what happened and to see what I could've believed." I pause, pulling her closer to me. "I believe you. I believe you didn't sleep with her."

An unknown emotion flickers in her eyes and she wraps her arms around my waist hesitantly. "I remember some of what happened. I think..I think she drugged me. I knew something was off...by how she was acting. I know her patterns and how she is when intoxicated. This time did seem a little different." Her eyes flick up to mine. "I drank. A lot. When I arrived back home. I felt like I needed it. I craved it. So I let go." She sighs, putting her head down. "I don't ever want to lose you. I'd never do something so stupid."

I nod, lifting her head. "I trust you Emilia. You're my wife and I'm deeply in love with you. But I can't deal with secrets. Maybe a little with others, but not with us. Anything that goes on, needs to be shared with me. Not days or months after, but when it happens. I need to know I can trust you."

"You can trust me." She presses a kiss to my forehead, "I promise."

I smile at her, and her face automatically lights up with a smile back. Leaning forward, I place my lips on hers softly. She responds immediately, her hand sliding down to grip my ass. She forces her tongue into my mouth, fighting for dominance. I moan into the kiss, wrapping my arms around her neck.

She bites my bottom lip roughly, and I make a noise between pleasure and pain. Grabbing my ass, she yanks me closer to her, pressing her body in between my legs.
