Energy was the first thing Ferris felt when he walked into the party. The band had just exited and another one was entering. Music flowed from their peculiar array of instruments, enticing him to dance. He danced and danced until he looked around...He was all on his own, everyone else had fallen to the ground.
"It's you!" One of the girls exclaimed.
Ferris' auburn hair fell in his violet eyes as he tried to back away. "What?"
One of the other girls, adorned with gold jewelry, came up behind him. "Don't be scared, we're here to help you understand." She appeared behind him despite having been in front of him seconds before..
"I-I...what did you do to them?"
"Nothing, simply put them to sleep." The ebony clothed girl that had spoken first said demurely.
The twin emo looking boys in the band spoke now in perfect synchronicity: "Welcome to death, Ferris."
Ferris' heart pounded violently. This had to be a prank. This kind of thing only happened in the movies.
"I promise, this is no lie." The ebony decked girl said gingerly draping her ethereal form over a party table. "We're here to take you to the Underworld."
