**Calebs PoV** -a two days before-

I was worried. Because Peggy was missing. Her dad and her momma where out looking for her. And I'm worried. I don't want her to be hurt. She's to pretty too be hurt.

I know that her dad will find her though. He has too. And if he doesn't. I will. Because I need Peggy.

I kinda liked her. Well, my mom said I liked her when I told her that I get smiley and a weird feeling in my tummy when I think about or see her.

She said that my wolf and her where meant to be together when we got older. But she said that me and her where also going to be together because one day Im going to love her. But right now, it's what mom said is a crush.

Having a crush on someone, my mom said is when you get a fuzzy feeling around someone. And get butterflies in your stomach. And smile a lot wen you're around them. So i concluded that I. Liked. Peggy.

Shawn liked Kali. He said that he maybe loved her. But said that he couldn't say that because she was human, normal. And so she would maybe think they where "moving to fast".

Me and Shawn where werewolf's. It meant that when we wanted, we could turn into wolfs. Mine is called Toby.

Toby likes Peggy too. I asked my mom why. She said

"Because, well you see Caleb. You and Peggy are mates. your wolf, you of course as well, you'll love Peggy very much and she'll love you, and Peggy where always going to love each other. when you get near Shawn's age you'll um. . You'll become boyfriend and girl friend. Maybe though, you'll fall in love when you're young." She said. Smiling while she answered.

And I understood that. Mates. My mom and dad where mates. And they where always going to be together, ever since they where born, and they love each other.

Mate was a shortened word for soulmate. We where soulmates. We where meant to be together. Like boyfriend, girlfriend. And that seemed kinda yucky to me a while ago. But this was Peggy. And I like, like Peggy.

My mom told me that you can't live if your mate rejects you or dies. She said the pain is unbearable, but, that some lucky wolves get second chances at mates. I didn't want Peggy to reject me, or die. And I didn't want a second chance, I want Peggy. Forever.

She also told me that my dad was an alpha. And that she was a Luna. That meant that my dad and my mom where in charge of our pack. And that they where very powerful.

My pack was full of wolves. And when I asked dad how many people there where I'm our pack he said "347.". That's a very big pack. Very big.

Shawn was going to be the alpha once my dad died and he would be in charge.

My dad told me that because we had alpha blood running through our veins that we would be more protective and possessive of our mates. Which is why I am already becoming protective and a little bit possessive at only 7.

My brother had a mate too. Her name was kali, the same Kali as before. He loved her. And I'm not sure if she loved him her. Mainly because they are mates, she will eventually. But, Shawn loves her already because he's a werewolf. And he gets "feelings for his mate quicker because she's a human and he's a werewolf.". At least that's what dad said.
