Chapter 13: Can't Swim

Ellie's P.O.V >~<

I saw Meliodas and Elizabeth walk somewhere holding hands and I couldn't help but smile. I turned to see the ocean.....the....water...It looked so fun...but....scary...I saw kids sitting on surfboards in the water and they looked fine so I thought I should try it out because I knew Zeldris wanted to go swim but he was staying with me. I saw how he looked at the water with such longingness so I wanted to make him happy! I know I'm making the right decision.

"Zeldris why don't we go into the water?~" I asked smiling as I saw his face light up the minute I asked.

"Are you sure?" He said looked so happy I just HAD to go even though I doubt he would go if he knew.....

"Of course!~ come on!~" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the water. Once we got to the water I grabbed a surfboard and sat on it smiling when I saw his swimming around looking so happy.

I was so focused on Zeldris's happiness I didn't notice that the surfboard I was sitting on started moving farther and farther away from the shore..and then I saw it....a big wave right in front of me...I couldn't move.....I just stared with horror in my big purple eyes at the biggest wave I've ever seen up close.

I could hear Elizabeth yelling my name but I just couldn't move and the wave got closer and bigger and closer and bigger as I heard Zeldris yell my name. I turned to see him and that was the last thing I saw before...I blacked out.

Zeldris's P.O.V ;/

I was so happy when Ellie said we could go to the water I've been wanting to swim all day but...there's no way she couldn't have possibly known that...could she have?...

I was swimming when I noticed Ellie wasn't where I last saw her I was swimming around looking for her when I heard Elizabeth yelled Ellie's name I followed her gaze and I saw Ellie sitting on a surfboard right in front of a HUGE wave ....'WHY ISNT SHE MOVING?!' I thought as I had multiple flashbacks.

Flashback 1

"Hey Ellie ready to go to the beach the ocean is beautiful"

"Yeah....i'm not really a water person but I bet it is!~"

Flashback 2

"Ellie, why don't you swim with me?"

"I'm good right here I don't think I could manage going any farther into the ocean," She said laughing.

Flashback 3

"Ellie, do you not like the water?"

"No that's not it!~ I just don't think I could do all the things you can in the water!~"

End of Flashbacks

She....can't swim.....IM SUCH AN IDIOT.

"ELLIE!" I yelled swimming towards her almost there.

She turned her head smiling at me and said my name before the wave engulfed her. I swam as fast as I could looking for her underwater and once I saw her I grabbed her and swam to shore with her on my back. I arrived at the shore and placed her on the sand giving her cpr..'What do I do?' I thought. (MOUTH TO MOUTH BOY!~) oh okay (HEY HEY HEY DON'T BREAK THE FOURTH WALL DUDE!~)

I gave her mouth-to-mouth and eventually she began spitting out water and she sat up. Elizabeth ran over and pulled her into a bear hug and Ellie started staying she can't breathe then Elizabeth let go and kept apologizing.
