Chapter 25: The Autumn Dance PT.1

Everyone was preparing for the Autumn dance that was taking place tonight. Elaine made sure that EVERYONE had something to get done. Mythia and Elizabeth were the ones giving out flyers, King and Gowther were out buying decorations, Diane and Meliodas were putting all the chairs and tables into the Gym, Estarossa and Yuki were selling tickets,  Alice and Merlin were handling the prices, Ellie and Ban were on food duty, and Zeldris and Escanor were moving all the heavy stuff. Elaine was with Cole and they were organizing everything. Elaine was really excited about the dance so she had to make sure everything happened the way it was supposed to happen. 

"Okay people keep it going we need this done ASAP!" Elaine shouted. 

"Elaine's as bossy as ever eh? "Meliodas joked, getting a laugh out of Diane. 

"She sure is captain.," Diane said as she set up the fifth table in the room. 

 After a while, it was time for everyone to take a break. They all met up outside well all of them but Ellie who they thought was finishing up. 

"Are you sure she's finishing the cake Ban? It's been thirty minutes." Elizabeth asked who was a little worried about her friend. 

"Of course princess," Ban answered and looked at Zeldris who looked like he was about to go in the check on her. 

"Zeldris calm down," Estarossa said calmly as he placed a hand on Zeldris's shoulder. "You want me to calm down?!" Zeldris looked at Estarossa with anger eyes that instantly softened as he heard Ellie say,

 "Hey sorry I'm late! I accidentally spilled a bunch of sugar oh clumsy me" She giggled and knocked on her head gently. 

Zeldris sighed out of relief and hugged the small girl, he was rather worried, especially because after what happened to Elizabeth he didn't want it to happen to Ellie. He was very protective over his love, he didn't want her getting hurt by those wicked fangirls. Ellie was actually aware of this and that is why she wasn't bothered by it, she knew he was just trying to protect her though he didn't know she knew.

Elaine's P.O.V :0

After we all got home, I was pretty busy with keeping things on tasks though it was a little hard to do so when my big brother and his girlfriend, Diane couldn't keep it in their pants.

The main reason why I was stressing over this was that our cousins were going to be attending, these specific family members are very rich and they've been to dances we could only dream of. They have high standards and I want to throw a dance that goes above those standards.

It will be hard but I could get it done, I knew I could, besides, I have Ban to help me so what could possibly go wrong?

Elizabeth's P.O.V

Ellie and I had been helping Elaine and the others as much as we possibly could but we also had the babies to take care of. As the godmother I didn't know how much time I could spend away from them, Ellie couldn't handle it all on her own and I knew that so I wanted to help her the best I possibly could. I just didn't know how I could balance my family, friends, boyfriend, a dance, and Ellie's babies. We had our exams coming up so I also had to study for those.

Who knew life could be this stressful? Even with all the money that comes from being a daughter of a very rich man I wanted to make some myself. So, I decided to also apply for a part-time job. Yes, this would consume more of my time and probably stress me out even more but it was time to be responsible, I can't just live on my Dad's money forever.

CupidxGoddess's P.O.V

It was time for the dance! Students all over the school were very excited for this day and most girls were excited to try to win the crown of the Autumn Queen. Couples from all over the school competed for the crown and some didn't of course. Though this is where we get back to our lovely characters.

Elaine and Ban were the ones who spoke in the microphones and hosted the events, everyone loved this motivating power-couple and I mean, who couldn't? It's Ban and Elaine.

King and Diane were on ticket and vote duty. They were the ones that collected the votes and tickets. Diane was oddly ecstatic about collecting the votes, she felt like she had the power while King was just happy about being by her side. When King saw the smile that formed on Diane's face every time she collected a vote it warmed his heart and brought a type of happiness to him that not even he could explain, all he knew is that it felt good.

Elizabeth and Meliodas were monitoring the events, making sure no one got naughty or showed signs of non-pg content at the dance. Elizabeth seemed so focused and content on this, her face was simply adorable to Meliodas. Every now and then when she would point someone out, Meliodas would just pull her into a kiss, and then by the time he let her go, the people would've escaped. She got so flustered and angry that he just couldn't help himself.

"Meliodas stop that! This is the 18th time tonight!" Elizabeth whined as she was then just pulled directly into another passionate kiss. She could feel her face flush as well, whenever he kissed her, she craved so much more and returned the kiss, it sucked.

"Aw, I'm sorry Liz, do you not like it?~" He asked smugly, moving from her lip to her neck to hear her little gasps and squeals that made him lose his mind.

"I....M-Meliodas...!" She cried softly, and quietly as to not alert anyone. She just couldn't handle the pleasure he brought her at times.

"Yes Elizabeth? Do you like that, eh?" He said teasingly, going down to her shoulders before she then stomped her foot on the ground and he chuckled, finally pulling away.

"Bad boy!" She whined, pouting a bit as she narrowed her eyes and him and crossed her arms. It only made him smirk however.

"Oh I'll show you a bad boy later tonight~" He said with a wink, causing her to turn bright red.

"MELIODAS!" She yelled, covering her face with her hands as he just chuckled and patted her head.

"Alright, alright, I'll stop, for now."

Estarossa and Alice were simply enjoying their night, Escanor and Merlin had decided to take over the music detail so that they could. Alice seemed to really be enjoying her time with Estarossa, he was a pretty good dancer, and she liked that.

Ellie and Zeldris? They were of course handling the food and drinks. Zeldris constantly had to stop Ellie eating it however, because once she started, she didn't stop.

"Ellie, you have to cut it out, if you keep eating all the food, no one else will have any." He said, trying to reason with the gluttonous blonde.

"But Zeldy!~ It's so yummyyyy!" She whined, her mouth stuffed with food so her cheeks were puffed up like a chipmunks. It was such an adorable sight.

"I know, I know, but don't worry, I'll reward you with something even tastier later tonight when we get home, as a prize, okay?" He said, the intentions behind what he was saying? I won't add any context.

"Really?! Yay! Okay! I'll try my hardest! I promise!" She relied excitedly after finishing the food in her mouth, then she plopped down on her chair and waited patiently, it just brought a smile to his face.

Once all the jobs were done, they simply danced, this was supposed to be fun for them as well. King had to fly so that Diane could rest her head on his shoulder when they slow danced though. Meliodas didn't mind his height, he just stuffed his face into Elizabeth's chest and claimed it was for comfort. Ban just kept whispering things into Elaine's ear, grinning as she flushed more and more each time. Ellie and Zeldris? It was a little disappointing when he couldn't get her to stop looking over at the food, though he quickly came up with a plan. He leaned forward, giving her a sweet kiss which he knew she'd return. This night was one of the best nights they had experienced in a long time, and little did they know, that it was about to get better.
