"AGH"
Gasps for breath we're let out. His hands were tightened in a fist holding the sheets beside him. His nails were digging into the palm.
"What the hell was that?"
Light beamed through his bedroom window on the left of of his bedside. His room seemed to...glow.
He looked over to his nightstand and at his clock.
"Oh shit! Why didn't she wake me up!"
It's 2 p.m.
Work started an hour ago. His boss is going to chew him out, this is the sixth time this month. And he knows he's got to get it together.
He threw the sheets off of him and slid off to the side. It seemed like he was off balance, almost like when your done spinning a million times in a circle.
He turned his closet door and grabbed his uniform.
It was one of the ugliest things he's ever seen someone wear.
Black pants and a blue and red striped shirt with the word Blazers printed across the chest area.
His work is at a car shop, their known for their fast work. That's where they et the name.
Finally slipping on the shirt and tucking it in, he looked in the mirror.
"Oh that's just nasty! I freakin washed my face last night! Ugh stupid....freakin..!"
He popped the pimple on the center of his forehead and snatched a tissue to wipe the blood. The red spot looked like a You are here dot from a map.
He styled his short dirty-blonde hair, and, finally satisfied he brushed his teeth to get rid of the foul tasting morning breath.
Grabbing his wallet he ran out the door and sped down the stairs, only to see his mom in the kitchen.
"WHAT THE HECK!"
"Well goodmorning to you to Hun, or afternoon. How did you sleep?"
His eyes widened...
"I slept fine, why didn't you wake me up earlier! I'm a hour late to work and counting!"
"Well you looked really sick and pale, I just thought-"
"Forget it, just call them saying I'm sick."
"Hun, please-"
Max was at the top of the stairs before is mom could even finish. He sat at the foot of his bed thinking hard.
-knock-
Still in the daydream, Max wondered what he saw that night.
-knock-
-KNOCK-
Finally snapping out of his own world, he turned his head toward the sound.
He walked over to the window and tried pulling up, but it wouldn't give.
"C'mon now!"
Seeming like it was cemented shut, he finally pried it open.
Sticking his head out the window the sun nearly blinded him. He rubbed them till they were adjusted.
Rain clouds were rolling in. Seemed like it stretched out forever, as if it was the sky's version of the sea.
Lightning cracked across the sky with a thunder here and there. The air..it was getting moist.
