"When will my boy wake up!"

"We don't know yet, his coma maybe short or long. We just can't tell at this time."

"YOU'RE A DOCTOR!"

"Yes and we insure you we are giving all of our efforts."

The man was about average size, had a belly on him, and was balding on the top of the head.

You could tell he hasn't washed his white over coat. It had some food stains up by his neck and had the name tag on his left shoulder,Dr.Rainard.

The man stepped out of the room, leaving the mother. She hung her head down and walked over to the oak colored leather chair, near the back corner. Dust layered the arms of the chair, and leather was peeling on the seat cushion, letting the foam poke out of the holes.

"I never meant for this to happen to you."

She pressed her palms against her eyes and let out a whimper.

Max's body laid there, almost lifeless. He seemed at peace, seemed to have no worries.

His skin was drained of color. The lips crusted and shut. And his nose giving the smallest inhales and exhales.

The mother took her face out of her hands and stared at her boy. That was her boy and guilt was in her mind. Her heart seemed non existent. All emotions have been drained but sorrow stayed, and gave her misery.

"It's all my fault, I'm so sorry. This was supposed to skip over you."

She stood up, holding the arm of the chair to keep her knees from buckling.

She dragged her finger tips up the sheets of the bed and kissed her son on the forehead.Hoping, praying to god that he'd open his eyes.

She gripped his hand and tear ran down her nose and dripped into the sheets....

"Where am I?"

Max stood there breathing. There was no one or thing around. Not even the environment. All his surrounding was blank and white. It was bright but there was no light source.

"HELLO!"

He took three steps, hearing the leather squeaks from the shoes. Then something popped up under his feet.

A...key. He bent down and grabbed it. He studied the key in his palm.

"This is so...so strange."

The key was no normal one. In fact the key was the size from his palm to the end of his middle finger.

He stuffed it in his pocket and looked up.

A gate appeared from no where.

Before there was nothing, just a blank white environment. But now a gate.

"There's no way in hell-"

"YES BUT THIS IS NOT HELL!"

A deep bellowed voice came from all direction, causing Max to hit the floor cowardly.

"Please,please-"

"DO NOT BE AFRAID! YOU ARE SAFE HERE!"

The voice seemed to echo inside his head. He cupped his hands over his ears hoping to wake up.

"YOU DON'T LEAVE TILL I SAY SO!"

"How did you know I thought that!?"

"I AM YOUR CREATOR, I KNOW ALL THINGS CHILD!"

"God?.."

He said this under his breath. For he might have said the wrong thing.

"YES! I AM GOD! THE ONE AND ONLY AND THE ONLY ONE TO EVER COME!"

"Please leave me alo-"

"NO NO COME FOWARD!"

Shaking he stood on his feet. His hands trembled by his waist, his heart pounding through his chest. His eyes darted left and right, to maybe see where that voice came from.

He stood at the base of the gate.

It was made of gold, lined with pearls and rubies of every color. Around 50 feet high.

He stuck the key into it's slot and turned it, listening to the gears twist and crank. The gate moved inward, letting out a creak.

Light poured from behind the gate blinding Max, making him shield his eyes. He peered over his eyes once more.

The streets were made of gold. The lakes were clear as crystal. The mountains stood as tall as the eye could see. This was paradise, this was heaven.

"Am I-"

"NO YOU ARE NOT DEAD!"

That voice bellowed out from all directions. Max turned to the right, seeing a throne. And in that throne he could hardly believe what he saw.

"Hello Max!"

This was GOD.
