"Captain, where are we going today?" Lance questioned.
They were downstairs in the armoury, Lance leaned up against one of the stone walls as Aslan sat on the bench opposite from him.
"Why do you keep calling me captain?" Aslan asked instead of answering, cleaning his revolver and blowing dust out of the barrel. "I'm your general."
"Makes me think that we're pirates," Lance shrugged.
Aslan was unperturbed by the answer, hand still swiftly cleaning. "You're speaking garbage, Lance."
Lance blinked. He wasn't offended; everything that came out of Aslan's mouth was a wonder to him.
"In the real world, we are not pirates." He set his gun down and Lance's gaze went from Aslan's hand to his eyes. He was staring right at him. "The sooner you realize this, the sooner you'll accept the reality that is this nightmare."
