“It’s been a week and he hasn’t come back yet!” Larisa stormed into The Boss’s office.
“Larisa, calm down.” The Boss said.
“What? Are you freaking kidding me, now? I’m telling you Victor has been missing for a whole damn week and we haven’t heard any news from him, and you expect me to be fucking calm?” She hit his desk hard. “You’re so wrong. I’m going there.”
“Listen, Larisa. You don’t think I’m worried, too? I thought he’d be here by now, but we can’t risk going there. It’s way too dangerous—”
“So you’re just going to leave him there, without knowing anything about him? That is your great decision? Your great plan?” She cut him off, in an angry tone.
“Just wait at least for two more days and if he doesn’t come back, I will let you go there with some of my men.”
“But—”
“Two more days, Larisa,” He cut her off, immediately. “It won’t make a great difference.”
“You never know what might happen in two days. He might not make it till tomorrow,” She said, her voice breaking a bit. “And then we’d be too late.” She whispered, tears stinging in her eyes. The Boss came to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Larisa, don’t say that. You should be the most hopeful one between us. You should stay strong.” He embraced her.
“What if they hurt him?” She was crying now. “I will never forgive myself if something happened to him. Never!”
“Nothing will,” The Boss held her tight. “I promise you.”

“Ana?” Olga yelled walking through the front door. “Anastasia!”
“She’s in the bathroom,” Lena yelled back. Few minutes later, Lena got down. “Hello, Olga.” She smiled.
“Hey, dear,” Olga smiled back. “Is Ana alright?”
“I don’t know. She’s been there ever since the morning.”
“Oh god. I’ll go check up on her.” Olga got upstairs.
“Ana, honey?” Olga knocked on the bathroom door. “Is everything okay?” No reply. “Anastasia?” She opened the door, finding Ana on the ground, puking her guts out. “Oh dear! Honey, are you okay?” She ran to her and helped her up, rubbing her back, smoothly.
“Oh my god, what died in here? Ana, are you alright?” Lena said, walking into the bathroom.
“I’m fine, I’m fine. Just a little dizzy and tired. Maybe I ate something bad.” Ana said in a low tone.
“Go get some rest, sweetie. I’ll make you something to drink,” Olga said. “Lena, take Ana to her room.”
“Come with me, Ana.” Lena took her hand as they made their way to Ana’s room. They sat down, waiting for Olga to come.
“Here’s the tea, dear,” Olga said, giving Ana the cup. “Drink it while it’s hot and it will make you feel much better.”
“Thanks, Olga,” Ana smiled weakly at her. “Where’s Nikolay?”
“He’s down. He doesn’t know about this. Do you want me to call him?” Lena said.
“No, he’ll get worried. I don’t want that.”
“So what happened to you?” Olga asked.
“I don’t know. In these couple of days, I’ve been dizzy and nauseous all the time. Don’t know why.” Ana answered.
