I KINDA WANNA MAKE A SPIDEYPOOL FIC BASED ON THE BLUE NEIGHBOURHOOD TRILOGY???

Ned's POV

When I wake up the next morning, shrugging off the tiredness from the late night, I check my phone. There's a voicemail from Peter followed by 3 voicemails from MJ.

I press play on Peter's first and I'm almost scared at how shaky and static his voice comes through.

"Ned? Hey, It's Peter. Listen, I fucked up last night. I definitely fucked up. I shouldn't have gotten drunk like that. I'm so sorry. I just couldn't let you get hurt because of my v dumb decisions to get on Flash's bad side. I just... I can't go back to the group home. I can't continue in the system like this forever. I just can't... I'm sorry. If Mister Stark calls you or MJ, tell him I don't want to be found. I'm currently on a bus getting the hell out of here. I'm sorry. I just can't be sent back to the group home and back into the system. I can't. I'm sorry. Bye, Ned. Don't let Flash tease you anymore. This isn't your fault. I'm sorry."

MJ's starts playing next.

"Hey, Ned. It's MJ. Peter got home safe and sound from what I know. Just checking in. Call me in the morning and let me know if you're home safe. Call Peter too. Bye."

"Ned? It's MJ. Peter just left me a voicemail saying some pretty fucked up things. He isn't answering my calls anymore. Call him and then call me back."

"I swear to god, Ned. Wake the fuck up. You didn't even drink last night. Answer your goddamn phone. I'm worried Peter's going to get himself into trouble over this, but he isn't answering my calls. Tony Stark's been asking about him and I panicked and said he's at your house but that I don't know your address. Peter might be in trouble but he doesn't want Stark to know and I don't know what to do. Call me back."

I do as asked, calling Peter's number repeatedly but always being sent back to a soft voicemail.

Finally, I give up and call MJ.

"Thank god, Ned. Do you know where Peter is? I don't know what to do," MJ says, voice higher than normal and a little bit wobbly.

"All he said in his voicemail to me was that he's on a bus leaving town. He kept apologizing and saying that he couldn't just go back to the system. I think we have to tell Mister Stark. The longer we wait, the farther Peter gets. And we have no idea where he's going," I say, shaking off the grogginess.

"Okay. Okay... my mom's leaving for work, so can you bike over? I'll call Mister Stark and tell him to meet us at mine. I'm sure Peter's Fine, right?"

"Yeah, Yeah. Of course. I'll be there in 15, 'Kay?"

There's a soft hum of approval before the line goes dead and I have to acknowledge the heavy worry on my chest.

There's a long, thick silence after we've played our voicemails to the billionaire, who looks stressed and exhausted.

Finally, he sighs, "Has he mentioned anywhere he'd go if he were to run away? Any names or places or nightmares and something?"

"Not that I can remember, no. He did mention at one point that we were like his first ever friends... I don't know," I say, frowning at my fingers.

Tony's head snaps up. "Did He ever mention Wade to you guys?"

Peter's POV

My phone hasn't stopped going off since I left. I feel selfish and stupid and scared, but I can't keep going to new homes over and over and over again. Too many times and i can't do it anymore.
