I walked into the house, making sure I was as quiet as possible.
"Chapin?"
SHIT!
I looked over at Alice, who had a ohone to her ear. She quickly hung up and bombarded me at the door, wrapping her arms around me.
"Where in the world were you, young lady?!" she questioned.
It had been a couple of weeks since the incident with Evan in the parking lot. He's been taking on alot of extra jobs so he wouldn't have to see me that often. I understand, these kind of things are difficult to swallow.
"I was on a run, Alice. God, calm down," I said and made her let me go.
"Well, I'd better call Evan back and tell him I found you. Chapin, you make me sick with worry, some days!" she said.
I just rolled my eyes. She was insane.
I made my way upstairs, needing a few hours of sleep before hunting out the Pack House.
---------------------------------------------------
"Chapin!"
I rolled over in bed onto my back. "What?!" I asked.
"There's someone at the door for you!"
I sighed. "I'll be down in 10!"
I didn't bother to try and listen to who it was, knowing it was probably the principal telling Alice I was suspended again.
I changed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a grey tank top with a black and blue long sleaved plaid shirt over it. After that, I rolled my sleaves up and put on my black converse and brushed my teeth.
Downstairs, my mother was talking to a guy I had never REALLY seen before.
But I felt like I knew him. Like I had known him before and we have been away from eachother forever.
His amazingness shoked me. His god-like perfection and utter glow he had in comparison to the rest of the room. He had this gaze of light/deep blue eyes that intimidaed me too much. His hair was messy, but a sexy black, maybe even more lushious than mine. He was tall, and muscular, but not beafy like Jake. I felt like someone clipped of his wings and threw him off the edge of heaven.
He gave me a cocky half smile and nodded at me as I walked down the rest of the stairs and over to where he was standing next to Alice.
"Chapin! You didn't tell me you went running with Anthony! You didn't even mention him!" Alice said and I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
I mean, it's not like he wasn't staring down at me. He was looking at me, his eyes burning into mine.
I let go of our gaze, not wanting Alice to jump to conclusions. "I guess I forgot to mention it."
(YOU ARE NOT CRAZY! I HAVE NEVER MET THIS GUY OR EVEN SEEN HIM! I'M JUST PLAYING ALONG, CONSIDERING I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MARVOLOUS HE WAS!)
"Wel, obviously! Anthony, would you like to stay for dinner?"
"Alice-"
"Actuallly, Mrs.Torrez, Chapin has already planned a dinner with my family."
Ohmy god, his voice was amazing...so sexy and sweet and formal all at once!
"Oh, I'm not Mrs. Torrez! I'm Alice Stone. You kids have fun!" Alice said and retreated to the kitchen.
I looked up at him, in awe once more.
"I'm Anthony Palmisano, by the way," he simled and held a hand out.
My eyes widened. "Danny's son?"
