Chapter 15: Promise Ring and Early Career

December 9, 7:30 p.m.

After our win against The Miz and Maryse, I treated Alexa out to a dinner date.

Alexa: what is this for, babe?

Alex: just a little something to prove that we are the It Couple, and for our seven month anniversary as a couple.

Alexa: aww, babe, you're so sweet to me.

As we were eating our dinner, Alexa took something from her bag, a small box. I gave a confused look.

Alex: babe, what is that?

Alexa: open it and you'll find out.

I opened the box, and inside was a ring. I was surprised. She held out her hand, and she was wearing a ring.

Alexa: it's a promise ring, babe.

With the ring, there was a note that read:

Babe, for seven months, you've showed nothing, but your love and appreciation for me. The first time I saw you with my own eyes, I knew you will be the one, when my previous relationship didn't work out. You motivated me to go on with my life, and look at us now, being fighting champions. You showed me how to love again. I feel safe with you by my side. I love you, Alex. Hope to spend more years with you.

I smiled and I wiped a tear from my eye trying not to cry, and I proceed to put the ring on my finger.

Alexa: aww, babe are you crying?

Alex: no, it's just liquid pride that's all

Then, Alexa took out her phone, and she took a picture of our hands wearing the rings.

(Back at the hotel)

While Alexa was taking a shower, I was watching the WWE Network on my laptop, since the TV schedule didn't show any Disney movies. I was watching some NXT episodes dated back to 2014, and I saw some debuts of the biggest stars from Sami Zayn to Kevin Owens to Hideo Itami and Finn Balor. I was watching a women's singles match between Alicia Fox and a debuting female star. As I watched, Alicia's opponent happens to be a young girl with blonde hair and blue tips, wearing a tutu, and blowing glitter.

Announcer: her opponent, from Columbus, Ohio, Alexa Bliss!

My eyes widened, and my mouth hanged open because I couldn't believe that was actually her. Then, Alexa came out the shower, and put on some casual clothes

Alexa: babe, what are you watching?

Alex: an old NXT episode featuring the debut of a sparkle fairy

Alexa gave a confused look and she sat down and watched with me. Then, she got up and covered her face in embarrassment

Alexa: why? Why are you watching that?

Alex: I wanted to see what you were like in your first stage of your career.

I proceeded towards the end of Alexa's match

Tom Phillips: Bliss on the top rope. She calls that the Sparkle Splash

Then I looked back at Alexa with a teasing look.

Alex: Sparkle Splash? Your finisher known to many as the Twisted Bliss was used to be called the Sparkle Splash?

I laughed, and Alexa slapped me in the back of my head, but I'm still laughing.

Alex: Ow!

Alexa: it's not funny, babe

I hugged her and apologize

Alex: I'm sorry babe, I'm just kidding. I have to admit, you looked so cute and innocent in that outfit.

Alexa smirked and blushed.

Alex: we should get some sleep now

Alexa: yeah, I'm so sleepy

We changed to our light clothes, cuddled in bed and slumber.
