"Ant, thank you for taking me out, I haven't smiled this much in a long time" she said as she turned in her tickets.
I had took Desire to Excalibur so she could relive a child hood moment. "You good ma, you deserve every bit" I said kissing her on the cheek.
I've been affectionate alot towards her lately. I don't know if she could tell I liked her but I did. I fell hard for ma and she been there through thick and thin.
I loved Desire alot and I was wanted her but I'm not finna rush into no shit if she ain't ready.
"Anthony... what's up? Is there like something you want from me?" she said. That came out of no where.
"Whatchu mean?" I said still wondering where that came from.
"You're always so sweet to me and I never do anything for you.. I don't know if you want something or... Because most guys only wanna fuck and if that's what you're doing all this for then fuck you and allat." What the fuck?
"Desire every guy is not like me, I used to be that type of guy to fuck then duck these hoes, but then I met you. You gave me hope when all hope was lost and you actually helped me more than you think you did." I said."When Mel died, I didn't know what to do, I wanted everybody to fucking die mane, everybody because you cant trust nobody, but then I met you, something about you made me change my mind."
I took her hand and looked her in the eyes. "Desire, I love you girl, from the moment I saw you, something about you clicked. When I was living at the corner store, you offered to take me in even with a boyfriend and a baby on the way. You got heart ma, a big one at that.. I hate to see you cry yourself to sleep and I know all I can do is give you advice and sometimes that doesn't even work. I just want you to be happy all the time and I wanna be the reason you happy."
I saw a tear fall down her face. I wiped it, then picked her head up and gently kissed her on the lips. "No more crying baby girl, you have blessings to come"
