|Chapter 8| Hesitation |

   As Sprout was struggling to get down the lignum mummered something under her breath. Curious, Sprout looks up at her. She was still looking at him, as if she had been waiting for a reply to something. "Did.. she say something to me?" Sprout wonders but then all of a sudden he felt something tightly grip his arm. "L-let go of him!" It was Azure sitting on Sun's shoulders. "Yeah!" Sun says struggling to keep hold of his balance. 
   "Now Apricot. They're just children treat them gently" Dai spoke patting Apricots shoulder. Suprised, Apricots tight grip on Sprouts head suddenly goes loose and he falls on top of Azure and Sun. "D-Dai? Are these your visitors!?!" She chokes out the words obviously shocked. Dai stares at the three as she nodded as a response to Apricot. Apricot slightly embarrassed, proceeds to timidly apologize to the three. "Its okay! I would've thought a bunch of kids with hoods on were suspicous as well!" Sun smugly spoke with a big smile present on his face.
   Now that she noticed we werent suspicous she was being very sweet and gentle to us.  "You should take off those hoods and uh that leaf bag, the other chiefs might mistake you for being suspicous as well" she says crouching down and  taking  off Azures mask for her. Azure and Sun exchanged looks and took off their hoods. At first Apricot was suprised at seeing them but later got back her calm posture.  Dai however was looking at the two children, she then glanced at Sprout who was hesitating to take off his hood. Dai crouches down and points at a large wooden house placed on top of the mountains. "You see that house? The first person to go up there will win a prize" She said. After hearing this Sun and Azure ran off. Apricot was suprised "D-Dai?!?! These children dont tell me your going to ?!?!?" she says. Dai looks up to Sun and Azure running up the stairs and then looks down at Sprout "Im...not sure..." she says as a drop of sap in replace of sweat, rolls down her cheek. Apricot turned to Sprout with a concerned look but masked it with a smile and told him to go up the stairs along with his companions.
    Right then and there Daisy walks over and quietly greets apricot "Oh hey Apricot!" She told with a smile. "hm... Daisy dear could you go up to the mansion for me?" Apricot gently told Daisy. Daisy smiles and dashes upstairs stopping right next to Sprout who wasnt even halfway up the stairs yet he still had an incredibly worn out look on his face. He was clearly exhausted. He frowns at Daisy who was trying ever so hard to hold her laughs. "Pfft Sprout..  Your not even half way up the stairs yet... Pfft" She giggles. Sprout sighs and sits on the stairs to catch his breath. At that moment Daisys giggles stop as she felt pity for the little lignum. So she held his hand and dashes up the stairs as fast as she could. But of course they didnt know that Dai and Apricot were right behind them.
