I stared at the little girl as I held Kailey's hand.
"I would love to but I'm only 18 I don't think that's allow-" I was cut off by Reneseme "ITS TOTALLY ALLOWED YOURE AN ADULT PLEASE PLEASE?! YOU LOOK PROMISING ENOUGH! Plus your guys' hair looks cool" she begged as she smiled

I looked at her with a smile "Well....it's not really up to me you'll have to ask Kailey when she wakes up.....but yes I will adopt yo-" I was cut off again when Reneseme threw herself at me almost knocking me off my chair as she laughed. I smiled and hugged her to me, until I heard a sniffle. I leaned back and looked at Reneseme to see her crying. I rubbed her back "Hey hey hey....why are you crying beautiful?" I asked.

"I'm just so happy, I haven't found my home yet and I'm really hoping this is the one." She cried. I smiled a small smile and kissed the top of her head "Of course this is the one, now....where do I get those adoption papers?" I asked with a huge smile. She jumped up, wiped her tears and starting hopping up and down. "I'LL GO GET MY SUPERVISOR!" She said excitedly and zoomed out of the room. I smiled and shook my head.

I turned and looked at Kailey, all my happiness gone seeing her laying there...unconscious and in a coma. I grabbed her hand and moved my chair closer to her. I reached my hand over and moved her hair out of her face. "Hey sweetheart, yes, sweetheart that's your new nick name because we have a babygirl or our own. I know you'll accept her as much as I do because you're just that loving. I promise you babe that as soon as we're all out of here, I'll buy us an 2 room apartment big enough for all of us." I lean over and kiss her ring finger and rub it "I was going to propose" I pause "but it can wait for right now, babe I'm gonna need you to wake up. Fight hard. Fight as hard as you can. Because every day I'll be by your side every second of every hour. I'm never gonna leave you babe, never." I realized I'm crying at the end of my speech and I wipe them away and lean over and kiss her face.

I start on her right cheek, then her left, then her nose, then her lips, and lastly I leave a long kiss on her forehead. I sit back down and grab her hand. I sit there for another 10 minutes when Reneseme walks in with a woman behind her holding a file. "Ms. Clark this is the man that's going to adopt me. And this is his wife who's going to be my momma" Reneseme said with a hopeful smile. I stand up and put my hand out greeting the lady "Hello Ms. Clark, I'm Xaviar Thomson." I said with a smile and put on my business facade.

We shook hands. "Hello Xaviar, so you want to adopt little Reneseme?" She asks as she put her hand gently on the top Reneseme head. "Yes, I do, and I know that when my wife wakes up she's gonna love her and become the best of friends" I say with a smile "not only that but it will get her dreams started." Ms.Clark looks at my quizzically "her dreams?" She asked. "Yes, her dream is to become a psychologist and have 8 kids, 5 adopted and 3 of her own." Ms. Clark smiles. "Well then, here is everything you need to know about Renee *Renesemes nickname* and here are the papers you need to fill out. And don't worry about your wife having to fill it out, as long as one does it's fine" I smile and take the papers.
                       *3 minutes later*
I hand Ms.Clark the papers and smiled. "All of renesemes stuff is already here so nothing needs to be collected" I smile and nod "Thank you." I say as I grab Reneseme hand and shake Ms.Clarks hand with my other "I'll treat her and my wife like the Princess and Queen they are" I say with a bright smile. She nods and bends down to Reneseme's level "Now Renee, be good to this couple okay? No more fighting....promise?" She sticks her pinky out. Reneseme rolls her eyes and connects her finger with hers "promise" she mumbles. Ms.clark smiles and nods and stands up. "Have a nice day you three" and walks off.

I sit down in the chair next to Kailey and lift Renee onto my lap and grab Kailey's hand. "C-can I hold her hand to?" Renee asks. "Of course babygirl" I smile and put her on my knee for her to hold her hand. As Renee holds Kailey's hand her heart rate picks up on the monitor and she shoots up gasping for air and looking around horrified. I shoot up and push her back down "KAILEY! Hey Babe calm down, it's okay! You're in the hospital." She looks around the room and stops. "Who are you?"
