It was a chilly December evening.
You had just gotten out of a long day of work. Your fingers stiffen as cold, white flakes melt into the skin of your hand.
Walking to the bus station in the snow is always a struggle. It's difficult to see through the frozen mass, and the lack of sunshine doesn't seem to help the matter. You shiver, tugging your thin sweater closer to your body.
"_____-ah."
You turn to see your boyfriend, standing just a few feet behind you, in nothing but a teeshirt and baggy sweatpants.
"Sehun, what are you doing here...?"
"It's snowing. I figured you wouldn't want to walk in all of this, so I drove here to pick you up."
You stare at Sehun in shock. His studio is half an hour away from your work, and you knew how much trouble he went to, considering he was just released from his dance classes as a trainee.
Pulling you to his side, Sehun walks you to to his car, navigating between clumps of snow.
Once inside, he blasts the heater. You let out a sigh as the warm air thaws your aching hands.
"I can't believe you did this for me. Thank you," you say, running your fingers through your slightly damp hair. He grabs your hand mid-brush and holds it to his lips, planting a warm kiss on your chapped knuckles.
"Anything for my _____-ah."
When you arrive at your home, Sehun follows you inside.
"Do you think I could stay here for the night? I'm so tired from the practice. I don't trust myself on the road."
"Of course you can stay," you reply, switching on the television.
"Good. I know how we have limited time together because of our work schedules, so I had been hoping we could have a movie night tonight, too," he admits, plopping down next to you on your leather couch.
"Sure," you agree, wrapping a large, blue blanket around both of you.
You throw on a comedy. When you go to talk to Sehun, you find him asleep, his arm still slung over your stomach. You smile, letting your eyes slide shut, and drift off into a peaceful sleep.
