Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Chapter 3: Smile, because you didn't care.. I hope.

Tyler's POV;

You'd think school would be your sanctuary to get away from some people, hoping they would ignore you.

But, oh no, not me.

The one I'm trying to avoid happens to be the one who stalks me.. Everyday all day. Even at work! I hate it! I'm getting way to much attentions for wanna-be whores. Or at least in my opinion I am. It gets annoying in the least.

I guess this is all apart of his lovely plan to make me fall in love with him. I seriously didn't think this boy was serious. He couldn't be, could he! Whatever, why am io even thinking about this.

I dragged myself through the hall ways with Hay, barely talking. She shook me, bringing me out of my thoughts. "What?" I snapped, sounding a lot more angrier than I wanted to. She didn't even say anything, as she pointed forward, at the jock walking towards her.

"Oh shit!" I grabbed her arm, turning us around. But oh no, it was to late, he had already grabbed my hand, intwined our fingers and pulled me away from Hailey. My hand felt weird when he grabbed it, but I just brushed it off. He started pulling me towards.. Dare I say it, the popular crowd.

"Max, what're you doing?" I questioned, he just smiled at me. It seemed like he was super happy, and it wasn't like his regular smirk. It was a cute one, a sweet one, one that made a blush creep out onto my cheeks. Holy shit! He actually made me blush.

These damn teenage hormones. It has to be them. it's just his looks, remember that! He isn't sweet at all! He's way over the top cocky!

One of the cheerleader said a sneer remark about me, which only caused my hand to tighten around Max's. I wasn't used to people saying stuff to me, and I surely wouldn't be able to handle it.

"Maaaax" One of them said, holding out the a way to long. "Who's she? And what's with her get up? Is she like.. Dumb?" She had that stupid Valley Girl accent like the rest of them did. Ugh.

"Get in this generation, sweety."

"Exactly. And your hair, is it natuarally that color? I bet not, I bet it's dyed. It's horrible on you."

Just remember, this stuff won't hurt you later in life. I can't let it bother me now. Shit, I can't take their comments.. They just keep talking.

Don't cry. I reminded myself over and over. Don't. They're not worth your tears. But it didn't work. Their comments are to rude. And just as I was about to run away, Max wrapped his arms around me.

"Shut up, at least she doesn't screw every guy that's willing." He said, before grabbing my hand again and walking off.

Why was he so angry? He didn't have to defend me. Was this just another way of him trying to get me to like him.

"Listen," I said my voice cracking. Crap, I was still ready to ball my eyes out. " You didn't have to do th--" I was stopped by him gently pushing his lips against mine.

"Stop. You didn't deserve that. They were wrong, you're fine just the way you are. Don't let them change you, okay?" His voice was full of gentleness and caring. It was.. So sweet.

"If this is just apart of your plan, I swa--" I was cut off again, by him eargly, but sweetly pushing his lips to mine. He placed his forehead to mine.
