Let me die. I'm finally writing in Max's POV! <2
Chapter 5;
Dancing with the player?
Max's POV;
I can't believe I actually drove to her house, and she still wouldn't let me tell her about yesterday! This wasn't fair.. But, I do get to be around her more! That had to be a plus side, right? I mean she's going to fall for me, because I will win this. There has not been one girl who hasn't ever liked me! I am Max Elliot Walaford for heavens sake! This is all insane.
But when I'm away from her, I get this weird.. Feeling? Maybe, lets just go with that for right now. Tyler's different. She's not like the others. I promise you this! I will not fall for this girl! She will fall for me, and I will prove her wrong!
I had just realized that I was in class, when I felt a hand hit my back.
"Yo! Man, you realize you've been dazed like that for like.. Ten minutes?" My friend, Tanner said.
Tanner was about my height, maybe an inch or two shorter. He had black hair with bangs that swpet on his forehead. I guess you could say he was well toned. I'm not gay, so I can't exactly say 'He has a nice body. I mean look at that chest. Them abs.' No. Wouldn't do it. Tanner also had these bright blue eyes, that were nice.
I gave him a questionable look. There's no way I was dazed for that long! "You're lying."
"I'm not! What's going on that you were thinking so much?" This time, he gave me a questionable look.
"Nothing. Thanks for getting me. Wanna do something after school?"
"Sure." He said plainly. "What do you want to do?"
"Bowling. When's the last time we did that?" I let a chuckle slip. The last time we went bowling, we ended up getting kicked out of the place for making to much noice.
"When that old hag yelled at us and forced us out!" At this time, we were both laughing.
"Alright, alright. You find a girl to go with, and I will too. Got it?" He nodded.
I walked away, as I went outside. Thank god for lunch. I pulled out my cell phone, to lazy to even look for Tyler. When she answered, I didn't even give her time to talk. "We're going bowling tonight. You can't say no."
I heard a laughter coming from the background. "Is that Hailey?" She started laughing, too. What the hell was so funny?!
"Max. Look behind you."
I raised an eye brow and turn only to see Tyler standing there, laughing. I jumped lightly, and grunted. I hung up the phone and placed it back into my pocket. "Not cool."
She continued laughing. "Oh yes it was." She finally stopped laughing after a minute or two and then stood upright. She had been slouched over, from her holding her stomach, from laughing so hard. "Now what was it you we;re saying?"
"Me, you, Tanner, and some chick I probably know or won't know are going bowling. You can't say no." I said, a cheeky grin upon my face.
"Wait. I don't get a say in this?" She said, tilting my head.
I let a chuckle slip. "Nope."
"That's not fair!" She pouted. I grinned.
I grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes, smiling. "Please go. For me?" I said, sounding innocent.
