"Wake up Chez!" Chloe, my little sister, said as she yanked off my blanket.
I groaned and hugged my pillow. I didn't want to go to school. It was my first day and it was Monday!
I hate Mondays.
My sister turned on all the lights in my room then yanked the curtain open. I screamed at her to get out, but she just started dragging me off the bed.
"Okay! Okay! I'm up just don't let me fall off!" I said when she finally stopped.
I kicked her out of my room and turned on the shower. When I got out I straightened my hair and put on black skinny jeans and my favorite falling in reverse T-shirt with a black hoodie on top. I grabbed some waffles and drove off to school in my jeep.
Halfway there, I remembered that I forgot to get my sister and drop her off.
"Damn it!" I screamed as I made my way back.
When I finally got there I told her to get in the car and we left.
"You left me!" Chloe cried.
"That's your fault, you took way too long. Maybe you should get mum to wake you up earlier!"
We pulled up at her school and she pecked me on the cheek at left the car. Even though she can be a pain, I still love my little sister.
I finally got to school. I went to my locker and grabbed my books. I walked into class almost off the hook when-
"Late again Mr.Eaden," my geography teacher said "one more time and you'll get detention."
I heard some snickers in the back of the room. I wasn't the popular boy, I was far from that. My only friends are Mackenzie and Alexander. I am considered an emo freak. I wasn't bullied or anything. Actually, most of the school feared me. It was because of my past. All they knew about it was that I was abused. It was more than that. Way more than that. But honestly I could care less what they think.
After what felt like an eternity, the lunch bell rang. I ran out of that class as fast as I could. I couldn't stand to hear the teachers voice anymore today. I grabbed my lunch and met up with Mack and Alex behind the school. It was where we mostly hung out, right under our willow tree. As I was walking up, I saw Mack leaning against the tree while Alex was laughing his ass off.
"Hey guys what's going on?" I ask.
"Chez, you have to hear this really funny joke Mack told me" Alex said in between laughs.
"Alright shoot." I told Mack
"A blonde and a brunette walk past a flower shop and see the brunette's boyfriend buying flowers. She sighs and says, 'Oh crap, my boyfriend is buying me flowers again. Now, I'll be expected to spend the weekend on my back with my legs in the air.' The blonde says, 'Don't you have a vase?'"
I chuckled while Alex burst into another set of laughs. The rest of lunch pretty much went like that. Alex laughing his ass of over Mack's blonde jokes, even though she is a blonde.
The rest of the school day went by normally. Walking to class and the occasional hey to Mack and Alex whenever I saw them. When I finally got home I saw a note on the counter.
'Welcome home love, me and dad might be home a little late tonight but 10 o'clock at the most. There's some money on the counter so you and Chloe can order pizza. We love you! ~Mum'
Nothing new. Mum and dad always worked late. I grabbed the money and went out on a walk. London is a wonderful city. One of the most beautiful in my opinion. After about an hour, I went home grabbed my car keys, and went to pick up Chloe. I almost forgot about her! Thank god she had basketball practice today.
"Hey how was practice?" I asked as Chloe got in the car.
"It was good. A new kid joined the team! His name is Joey and he likes the color purple. He's really good!" Chloe said.
"Does my little sister have a crush?" I asked. She seemed really excited.
"NO!" Chloe said as she slapped my arm.
"Okay! Okay!" I laughed, "mum and dad are working late tonight. They said we can grab some pizza for dinner. Pepperoni or plain?"
"Plain. You know I don't like pepperoni." Chloe said.
"Yeah yeah, I know." I said as we pulled up, "go take a shower while I order, if you don't come down early enough I'll eat all the pizza without you."
And with that she raced up the stairs. She knew I would actually eat all the pizza. After about 10 minutes, the pizza came and Chloe came right after it. I started laughing at how quickly she finished. We put on Frozen, her favorite movie, and grabbed some popcorn. After we finished eating, I went to my room put in headphones and fell asleep listening to the drug in me is you by falling in reverse.
