*Recap*
I was laying on my bed and was thinking about that day with Chez, Bex, and Alex, when I got a text. At first I thought just to ignore it, but something told me this text was really important. I looked at my screen and almost fell off my bed when I saw who it was. It was a text from Chez.
'Mack. Help me. I didn't actually run away, my birth parents came for me and they told me to write that letter. Please call the cops!' He wrote.
'I had a feeling and will do!' I quickly wrote back.
I immediately went to Chez's house. I started banging on there door even though it was 3am. Chez's dad answered the door in a sleepy state and looked at me like I was crazy.
"I think I know how we can find Chez." I said.
Suddenly, he wasn't so sleepy anymore. He called his wife and I called up Alex and Bex and told them to come quickly. I filled all of them in on what happened earlier.
"He sent me a text. His parents have him. He's still out there and he could be hurt!" I screamed.
"Mack it okay. He'll be fine I promise. We'll get to him in time." Alex put his arm around me in reassurance. I really liked him, but it's not the time to think about it right now.
"We need to get him out." I said, "We need a plan. Fast."
"But first, we need to call the police." Chez's dad said. (A/N did anyone else think of but first, lemme take a selfie.)
"Yeah." Alex said.
Bex nodded. She took out her notepad.
I don't know who they are, but if they kidnapped Chez and we are trying to find him then I'm in.
"Oh." I said, "I forgot to tell you. Chez's past is um kind of complicated. All we know is that he was abused. He wouldn't tell anyone else what they did to him. Except for the police, of course."
She nodded then sighed. I hope we find him soon. She scribbled. What's the plan?
"We're not sure yet." Chez's mum said. It's the first thing I heard her say tonight.
"Actually..." I began.
