-Niall's POV-

-after studying-

I walk out of Kendall's house and into my car. I need some find to sort all this out. First, I'm still a little upset about my dad. I can't help but think that I'm a monster, like he tells me. And second, I think Kendall is my soul mate. Who knew I would get this lucky. I just need to try extra hard not to get hurt now, I don't want to be hurting Kendall.

That means I'll have to stay away from my dad or try to control him. And I know the latter would be almost impossible. I also don't want to hurt her emotionally. I won't ever cheat on her, since I know we're soul mates now.

I still can't believe we're soul mates. Well, I'm almost certain we are. It would be kinda freaky if we weren't and her actual soulmate got hurt in the exact same spot in the exact same day. And when I look into her eyes, something clicks. I get lost. She's so beautiful; inside and out. She's smart as well, which makes her 101% more attractive.

I think I'm falling for her.

Now I just need her to fall for me. I can't tell her that we're soul mates. It'll feel like it's mandatory for is to fall in love. She might be pressured and I don't want that. I want her to fall for me like anyone else. Then later I'll tell her. I don't know how late, but later.

But then I think, what if he doesn't fall for me? I'm a 6 and she's a 10. Maybe I'll be lucky for once in my life.

-at school-

I walk out of my class and head to lunch. I love lunch. Even though I don't sit at the same table as Kendall and her friends, I still can watch her. No, I'm not a creep, I just love looking at her. Zayn and Louis constantly tease me about it. I don't care. They'll understand when they feel the same way.

I look down at my food and eat until I feel someone sit down next to me. At first I was confused because all our friends were here; Zayn, Louis, Liam, and Harry. Who could it be?

I look up and it's Kendall. But she was just across the cafeteria?

"Hey Niall! And boys." She said as she waved to the table. I smiles and looked over at Ava and Sterling looking a little more uncomfortable than her.

"What brings you here, babe?" I ask. She blushes at 'babe' but I just love calling her that. It makes her all flustered.

"I just wanted to talk to you, you know, apart from studying. And Sterling over here wanted to see Mr. Malik over there." As she says that, Sterling looks up and mumbles something like 'Shut the fuck up, Kendall.'

Zayn just smirks and stares at Sterling. Maybe they have something going on. No idea.

I feel someone's eyes on me and I look over to Kendall and see her staring. I wink and give her a cheeky smile, which she blushes at. I then get a sudden confidence boost.

"Hey Kendall? Would you-uhm... Like to go on a date with me?" I smile at her, hoping she says yes. She looks deeply into my eyes, then smiles back.

"Yes, Niall. I'd love too." I smile and secretly grab her hand under the table.
