-Kendall's POV-

I open the door to see a smiling Niall there. I look down to his hands and see he has a beautiful bouquet of flowers in one hand and candy in the other. I grin so wide my cheeks hurt.

"Hi, Ni. How are you?" I ask.

He gives me his typical smirk and says, "Much better now that you're here."

I blush and take the flowers from him, telling him to come inside for a few minutes. I walk into the kitchen and grab a vase from the cabinet. I fill it up with Sprite and set it on the countertop. It looks breath-taking.

I turn and see Niall watching me from the living room, barely able to hide his smile. "Are you ready to go?" He asks. I nod as I grab my purse/small backpack and walk out the door with him. Like the gentleman he is, he opens the car door for me. I smile at him and get in the car, careful not to hit my head on the top of it.

We sit in a comfortable silence for a while, the only sound is some radio station Niall had on. "So where's this date going to be?" I ask.

He glances at me and smiles, shaking his head. "I can't tell you, babe. It's going to be one of those cheesy surprises you see in the movies."

I groan at his comment. I hate surprises. I like to know what's going on. "Please?! Tell me?" I say, pulling out my pout. He sees this and his eyes widen a bit.

"Babe," he starts, my heart flutters, "Don't give me that look. I can't tell you! It'll ruin it. Just trust me."

I sigh and give up. I'll try to enjoy not knowing and anticipate the surprise. He suddenly pulls his car over, parks it, and gets out. I look at him questioningly. He pulls a piece of black fabric out of his pocket and grins at me. He walks over to my car door and tells me to get out. I stand and he hands me the fabric, telling me to put it on.

"Niall, do I really have to? I don't wanna!" I whine. This will make it impossible for me to know where we're going. He just laughs at me and spins me around, tying the blindfold over my eyes.

He spins me again and says, "How many fingers am I holding up?"

"Ugh Niall! Two? I don't know."

"It was four," he chuckles, "I'm going to help you get in the car now." He grabs my hand and my waist and guides me to sit in the car. Luckily this blindfold also covers my cheeks, because I'm pretty sure they're bright red.

I hear him about to close my car door and I say, "Wait! What about my seatbelt? I can't see. Safety first, Ni."

He laughs at me and leans down towards me to reach the buckle. Even if I can't see him, I can still feel how close he is to me. I start feeling really nervous. Why am I nervous?

I hear a click and Niall mumble "Finally." He pulls away from me and gently shuts my door. I hear him getting into the drivers seat and starting the car. We drive for a while and I feel him stop the car.

"Can I take this blindfold off now?" I say. He laughs and grabs my hand, guiding me out of the car.

"Nope," he says, "But soon. Be patient, young grasshopper."

I sigh again but don't touch the blindfold. I grasp onto his hand tightly, afraid of tripping over something and falling. He stops me and says to take the blindfold. I open my eyes and see a giant sign saying,

HARRISON's AQUARIUM

I gasp and turn to Niall, "How did you know I love aquariums?!" I ask. He grins.

"I might have asked Ava and Sterling for some help planning this date." I pull him into a hug. Niall is the sweetest guy ever.

"Let's go in!!" I squeal. He laughs and follows me up the steps. He pays for our tickets, even after I insist I pay for mine, and we walk inside.

First up is the stingrays. I giggle and stick my hand in the pool to pet one. Niall gasps and pulls my hand out. I turn to look at him quickly, confused.

"Kendall you can't just put your hand in a tank full of stingrays!! What if one stings you?" He says, obviously worried. I start laughing so hard Im crying.

"Ni, look," I point to a sign on the wall, "It says you can pet them. You pet their backs, see?" I show him how to lightly touch the fish with a couple fingers. "You haven't been to an aquarium before, have you?" I ask. He blushes a bit and looks down. He shakes his head. "This is going to be amazing!!" I giggle.

*two hours later*

Niall and I finish going through the aquarium, both of us jittery from all the cool animals.

"That was amazing," Niall says, "I'm glad my first time at an aquarium was with you."

I blush and look down. We walk outside the building, thanking the staff as we leave. While walking down the steps, I trip and land on my knees. I quickly get up, but still see a small bruise forming.

"Klutz." Niall chuckles. I laugh along with him. I hop in Niall's car after he unlocks it. We drive out of the parking lot and begin heading home.

After a few minutes Niall says, "Hey Kendall."

I look over to him grinning. "Are you a fish?" He says, "Because you swam your way into my heart."

I burst into a fit of laughter, and so does Niall.

"That was so cheesy, Ni." I say while wiping a fake tear dramatically.

"You know you love cheesy." He says. I just smile back at him. We sit in another comfortable silence until he pulls into my driveway. I reach to open my car door, but Niall runs over and beats me to it. He even walks me to my door. Such a gentleman.

"I had an amazing time, Niall." I say. He smiles and pulls me into a hug. I quickly hug him back, not wanting to let go.

"I had an amazing time too, Kendall. I'm glad you said yes." I pull him in to another hug, but this time he kisses my cheek. I blush and we pull away.

"Goodbye, Niall." I wave to him.

"Goodnight, babe." He says with a cheeky wink. I blush even redder and walk in the door.

I set my purse down and see my mom grinning like a mad-man. "He's cute." She says.

I groan and walk upstairs.

What a night.
