-Kendall's POV-

Mondays. Not fun. I walk into school and automatically dread the rest of the day. I go to my locker and get my stuff for the day.

So Niall and his friends have been sitting by us everyday at lunch. Niall and I have also been texting a lot. Sometimes he asks to hang out after school, but I tutor Ava after school. Ava doesn't get super bad grades, but the teachers insist I do it, just because I'm a good student.

I tutor Ava in math since it's my best subject and her worse, it kinda works out.

Speaking of math, that's the class I'm in. I love math, but most of the stuff we learn is completely useless. I don't know how to do my taxes but I do know how to find the volume of a triangular prism.

Class is finally over and I hear my math teacher, Ms. Lawrence, say to see her after class. I get my stuff together and head to her desk.

"Would you tutor another peer for me?" She asks, "You get the highest grades in this class and Ava's grades have also improved from your tutoring."

I think about it, "Sure I guess. Do they want to meet at school or where?" I ask.

"He wants to be tutored at his house." She explains.

His house? It's a guy?

"Uh ok.. When does he want to meet?"

"After school tomorrow. Here's his address." Ms. Lawrence hands me a slip of paper with an address scribbled on it.

I smile and leave her class.

-Ava's POV-

I walk out to my car and wait for Kendall to get out here. Where is she. I've got a life too! Wait, that's netflix. I have netflix.

She finally walks out and she has a piece of paper in her hand. She also has a bruise on her cheek.

"Kendall what happened?!" I exclaim, "How did you get that bruise?!"

She looks confused and touches her cheek, then flinches. She must have not known. Maybe it's her soulmate.

"I didn't even realize it was there. I hope my soulmate is alright." She says and gets into the car. I start driving towards her house.

"So why were you late, missy?" I ask.

"Oh, Ms. Lawrence wants me to tutor someone else along with you. This time it's a guy." She says while she blushes. Ooh I bet she's got a crush on him. Or maybe he's hot.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Oh shit!" She says and I laugh, "I forgot to ask Ms. Lawrence who it was!"

"Well I guess you'll find out tomorrow," I say with a wink as we pull up to Kendall's driveway. I turn off my car and we go inside.

-Kendall's POV-

Ava and my tutoring session went well. She went home and now I'm texting Niall. I seem to text him a lot. I also feel like he flirts with me a lot, but why would he want a girl like me? He's probably just being nice.

And I think I might have a crush on him... But I barely even know him. And I bet he's not my soulmate so it doesn't even matter anyway. I'm fine with staying friends I guess.

I get on tumblr then fall asleep with my laptop on my lap.

I wake up the next day and get ready for school. I grab my things and go to Ava's car.

I get out of school and walk to Ava's car.

"Don't forget you have tutoring after school today!" Ava says. Oh right with that mystery guy. I really want to know who it is.

"You're good driving me there?" I ask. She nods her head as she starts driving. I look and see I have a pretty decent sized scratch and a new bruise on my arm. Weird. I want to find out who my soulmate is just so that I can help them.

Ava pulls into the house and it looks pretty nice. I say goodbye to Ava and walk up to the porch. I knock on the door and wait for someone to answer. I hear footsteps and the door click. The door slowly opens and I see blonde hair.

"Niall?"
