I woke up to my stomach feeling like its been turned inside out. I loudly groaned. Ashlinn looked at me and so did Alex like I was crazy. I mouth sorry. They both went back on their phone. I got up and decided to go to the bathroom. When I was walking down the hallway I saw Hailey holding Brandon's hand. I saw that Hailey was crying. Even though I hate Hailey for everything she has done I decided to be nice to her.
"Hey Hailey, what's wrong" I said in a sorry tone. Hailey just looked at me and bumped me super hard. "Hey pregnant woman here" I said with a annoyed tone. When I said that she just cried more. "Way to rub it in" Brandon said as he rolled his eyes and walked away. I was so confused. What's up with her and a child. I just brushed it off and I just went to the bathroom.
When I came back from the bathroom I saw something I never thought I would see. Ashlinn kissing and all over Brandon. I just looked at Ashlinn in her eyes until she stopped kissing him. "What babe" Brandon said as he turned around. "Shit" He said as he put his hand on the back of his neck. "Don't tell Hailey" He said as he got farther from her. "Or Carlos" Ashlinn said.
"Tell us what" Carlos said rubbing his wrist. "Tell you that they was making out" I said under my breath. "What" Hailey said clearly hearing what I said. Hailey walked up to Brandon and slapped him. "What the fuck is wrong with your brain" She yelled. "What the fuck is wrong with your brain" Brandon said. "what" Hailey said louder than before. "What was you doing with this dork" He said pointing at Carlos. "Hey don't call Carlos a dork bitch" Ashlinn said. "Shut the fuck up hoe" Carlos said as he walked closer to her. "Woah calm down Carlos" I said as I got in front of him.
All of a sudden Alex walked out the hospital room clearly confused. Alex just looked around then looked at me. I pulled Ashlinn, Alex and Carlos all into one group to get them away from Brandon and Hailey. I calmed them down only to hear "Get off of me" from a girl voice that sounded like Hailey. I turned around to see Brandon punching Hailey while she was on the ground. We all ran over to them. Alex and Carlos tried to get Brandon off her, while me and Ashlinn were trying to get Hailey away.
When we finally broke them apart Hailey's face was all bloody and bruised. I signaled Alex to call the police. Me and Ashlinn was basically holding Hailey trying to find her a doctor or nurse but we couldn't find any. I told Ashlinn to stay in the hall while I try to get us outta here. I walked down the hallway and looked threw my phone to see who I can call. I decided to call my 'brother' Juwany.
START OF CALL
Me - hey juwany
Juwany - hey sis
Me - can you pick me and Ashlinn, Alex, Hailey and Carlos from the hospital
Juwany - Hailey oh no
Me - please Brandon was beating her
Juwany - He was beating her
Me - yes
Juwany - okay fine
Me - thank you so much love you
Juwany - love you too sis
END OF CALL
I go back over to Hailey and rub her head softly while she sobs. "Has he ever done this to you before" I ask as I rest my head on her shoulder. "yes" She says as her voice cracks. "And it really sucks because i love him" She says as she started crying again. I decided to stay silent and wait till Juwany showed up. "Maybe we should wait outside" Ashlinn said. "Great idea" I said getting up reaching for Hailey's hand. She grabbed my hand very quickly and pulled herself up.
"Well what is it like to be 18 and pregnant" She said as we were walking to the elevator. "It.." I tried to say but soon Ashlinn started talking over me. "Wait your pregnant" Ashlinn looked at me and whispered screamed. I nodded my head yes. "OMG IM GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE" She screamed. "Only if your still dating Carlos" I said. "Oh" She said as she looked down. "Again im sorry for what I did with Brandon it should have never happened" Ashlinn said. "It's okay this happened before, at least you weren't someone I knew" Hailey said pressing the 1st floor button.
We walked outside to see Brandon punching a stone wall. You could tell he's been doing this for a while because the wall was bloody and so was his knuckles. "WHY DO I ALWAYS MESS UP" Brandon said over and over again. Hailey started walking towards him but i pulled her by her shoulder. Brandon then turned around to look at Hailey. Brandon then grabbed his bag. He was walking towards Hailey but e heard a car horn which made us stop in our tracks.
"Get in" Juwany said. I walked to the front seat and I threw my bag in the roofless jeep. Then Ashlinn jumped in the car. Hailey started to walk to the car but Brandon was holding her back. Brandon looked at Hailey and said "Don't get in the car with those dorks" He said. "Well at least those dorks care about me." She said pointing to the car the Carlos and Alex came. They both just walked past them and got in the car. "So this is it huh" Brandon said putting his hands on his hips. "Yea" She said as she walked away. "What about forever Hailey, what about our suburban house with 2 kids huh" Brandon said as his eyes got watery.
"Love is Hell" Hailey said as she jumped in the car.
