A few hours later i wake up to a sharp pain in my stomach. I groan. "Where are we going" I ask as I rubbed my eyes. "New York" Juwany says. "NEW YORK?!" I yell. "Yes, now please lower your tone" Alex says rubbing my head. "But we have nothing, no clothes, no hotel, no food" I start to panic. "We have enough money, we can just go with whatever" Hailey says closing her eyes. I start to sweat. "Oh my gosh babe your pregnancy hormones are going crazy right now" Alex said as Juwany smiled at the comment Alex made. Unlike Hailey. Hailey looked very uncomfortable.
"Hey what's wrong" I say looking at her. "Nothing" Hailey said looking out the window. "Something is wrong every time we start talking about having babies or being pregnant your whole mood changes" I say. "Are you not following her Instagram" Carlos says waking up. "No not ever since me and her had that big fight" I said shrugging my shoulders. "Well basically she was pregnant for like 5 months only for Brandon to say he didn't want the baby" Ashlinn said waking up. "Well im sorry for ever talking about it" I said.
"Why are you so nice to me Juliette, I held you hostage, I tried to take your boyfriend, I made Jesse rape you" Hailey said. "JESSE RAPED YOU" Juwany yelled looking at my threw the mirror. "yea.." I said. "Juwany pulled over the car to the side of the road. "You lied to me Juliette" He said with his eyes getting red. "Im sorry I was trying to protect both of you" I said in a sorry tone. "PROTECT ME FROM WHAT JULIETTE, you know your like my little sister i can't believe my own sister would lie to me about something so serious" He said as he left the car. Slamming the door behind him.
"Should I go get him" Carlos says. "No it's better if you let him cool off by himself" I say looking down. "But he's throwing rocks outside over the cliff" Ashlinn says pointing to the window. "I'll go with you" Alex says. I nodded my head.
"Hey Juwany" I said in a quiet tone "What do you want Juliette" He says. Juwany never calls me Juliette. Only when we are joking around. "So i'm sorry for lying to you about the whole Jesse thing" I say walking closer. "But why would you lie to me about something so serious" He says turning around. Juwany had red eyes looking down on me. "I thought I would protect you" I said wiping my eyes. "Protect me from what" Juwany says looking at me in the eyes. "Protect you from the police from beating Jesse to death" I say looking at the ground.
"Juliette you don't have to feel the need to protect me from the police" He says lifting my head up with his hand. "I love you so much Juliette" Juwany says letting tears fall from his face. "Me too" I say wiping his tears. "Good thing that shit show is over with" Alex said stepping in between us. I wiped my eyes. "yea" I laugh. "Well lets get back on the road" Juwany says walking back to the car.
We got back in the car and I saw Ashlinn and Hailey kissing. "Um" I say confused. "Carlos told me to do it" Ashlinn says. "You kinda have to admit that was kinda hot" Carlos says blushing. "Bro your so gross" I say as I punch him on the shoulder. He laughs.
Juwany starts driving again. I fell asleep. 30 minutes later I opened my eyes on Alex's shoulder. He was texting some girl named Cutie. It's obviously wasn't me. "Who the hell is that" I said getting off his shoulder. All of a sudden I heard Hailey's phone ding. I looked back at her. 'Are you serious right now" I yelled. Juwany hit his brakes and pulled over.
"I'm sorry Juliette I was going tell you" Alex said trying to touch me. "Well now you don't have to worry about that" I said as I got out the car. When I got out the car I walked to the side of the road. Then I heard a car door open and close. It was Carlos.
"What do you want Carlos" I said as I turned around. "I wanted to say i'm sorry" He said. "What" I said confused. "Well this is all my fault" He said wiping his face. "What, no it's not" I said leaning in for a hug. "I kinda told him to this" He said stepping away from me. "YOU DID WHAT" i yelled. "Well I had a crush on you for a long time and I wanted him to break up with you"
"Carlos.." He said. I walked back to the car and went to the front seat. "Me and Alex and Carlos and Hailey are no longer friends anymore" I said as I sat in the front seat. I also threw my promise ring back to Alex. "Give it to Hailey" I said as I put on my seat belt.
For the rest of the car ride we were all quiet. Well me and Juwany. After an hour Juwany stopped at a store. "Welp everyone get out and do what they gotta do and buy what you gotta buy" He said as he got out the car.
I got out the car and I opened the door. Juwany then grabs me by the wrist and pull me to the side. "Well I have to tell you something" Juwany says looking around. "Well tell me" I say looking at him. "Well I want to be more then bro and sis" He says looking around one more time. "Okay..and what do you mean by that" I say confused. Before I can say anything else he kisses me.
"Hey um Juliette I.." Alex says before he stops. "Juliette are you serious right now" Alex says. "Alex it's not what it looks like" I say pulling away from Juwany and walking towards Alex. "Juliette just stay away from me and my friends okay" he says walking away. "and by the way it was just a prank so you can keep the ring and sell it because we both won't be needing it" He says before he gets in the car and throwing the ring in the dirt.
