Chapter 4

  The next day was so gloomy and gray because it was raining, and Steven and I were remembering the time we went to the Navy pier and it started to rain. We spent the entire day talking about all the dates we went on. We finally got the idea to go visit my mom and we told her how great we are now, and then I felt sick and threw up in the bathroom. "Babe, are you okay." "Yes, I'm fine." I went over to my mom and silently told her. The next day we went down to the doctor and they said that it was just morning sickness. My mom looked at me and smiled. "Honey, you are Pregnant." "WHAT!!!" I grabbed my mom and started laughing and crying. I went home and pulled Steven to the side and had him sit down in the dining room. "Steven, I have a special present for you, I'm pregnant." "WHAT, Oh my gosh, Hailey." We are going to be parents. Steven's face was lit up the whole day.
 
He spent literally an hour tweeting everyone he knew on Twitter including the celebrities he followed. He was so excited. Kailey was still avoiding me just basically because I still haven't told Steven. "You know what Kailey, What If you had cancer yourself, and would you want to tell someone so bad, but you now you can't, then what?" "I would suffer the consequences, even if it means no relationship." I started crying. "You are just so selfish." I wheeled myself out of her house and slammed the door. I could hear her wailing as I stormed down the street. I wheeled so fast that I fell out of the chair. Sam saw me and helped me up. "Hailey?" "What happened?" I stared over at his house to where Kailey was. I started crying, and I excused myself. I went home and Steven was on the couch. "Babe?" I tried to race upstairs, but I fell down." Hailey stop, what's wrong?" "Kailey and I are fighting."

  He grabbed me and held me for five minutes as I sat on the ground. He carried me to the couch and I cried myself to sleep. I woke up to Steven's arm wrapped around me and him listening to music on his phone. He was still awake and it was three in the morning. I was still pretty sad when I woke up. Around 10:00 I got a knock at the door. "What do you want?" It was Kailey. She started sobbing. "I'm so sorry Hailey." She made me start crying. We both grabbed each other, and forgave one another. But I still wish that they wouldn't get into my business and bother me on when I would tell Steven, but they just have to deal with that it is my disease and my decision. My mom and I went out for a girl's day out, and we went to see Insurgent and it was a really good movie. I told my mom that I am more like Shailene Woodley because I am a really hard girl to get to, but if it is really bad then I will be corrupted.
