Chapter One

19th May 2020.

Oliver and Kara are sat in their room, kissing. 

Oliver: You really gave us a scare, Kara. I thought you were going to die. 

Kara: You can't get rid of me, stupid. 

Oliver: What do you thinks happening out there?

Kara: I'm not sure, Richard doesn't ever put us on lockdown. 

Oliver: It's a bit weird that he gets visitors and everyone has to go to their rooms and stay there. 

Kara: He's probably hiding something. 

Oliver: I wouldn't be surprised. 

Kara: But we don't need to worry, we got each other. 

Oliver: Yeah, we do. 

Kara: You know, I love you. 

Oliver: I love you too. 

The two continue kissing. 

Three Years Later.

For the next three years, the pair stay together in Arcadia, kicking ass with their friends. They kill Walkers, stop Raids and find supplies together. They're all happy, like a family. It's a family. 

25th April 2023.

Oliver is sat in his room, in Arcadia and is writing in his journal.

Oliver: God, it feels like a thousand years ago I fought my way out of that library, became who I am.

The people I started with are not here anymore, they're gone. They can't come back.

When Mitchell came knocking on my door, I had no idea it would lead to this.

Us. Here.

We aren't the working type.

Oliver closes the journal and rubs his eyes. He leaves the room and heads to the lab.

In the Lab, Mitchell is working with Hugo.

Oliver: Hey guys.

Hugo: Hey man, how's the book?

Mitchell: Hang on, you're alive?

Oliver: Haha very funny.

Mitchell: We barely see you anymore, is everything okay?

Oliver: Well, you know, writing and everything. Hugo, it's going alright I think? I don't know.

Oliver: How's Alice doing?

Hugo: Well you know, pregnancy isn't great.

Oliver: Personally, I wouldn't know.

Mitchell: She seems alright, considering she's having a kid in the literal apocalypse.

Hugo: It's a joint effort, I'm also having this kid.
