Victoria POV

They can't be gone, can they? Two of my best friends are dead and its all my fault. If Isaac and I hadn't left them today this wouldn't have happened. This is to much. I have to get out of here ... so I start running away.

Isaac POV

I run after Victoria, trying to hold back the tears because I have to be strong for her. I catch up to her quickly and I grab her hand.

"Its okay" I say.

"NO ITS NOT!" She yells and brushes my hand off.

She steps forward a few steps before collapsing to the ground in tears. I sit down beside her and wrap my arms around her as she cries hysterically into my shoulder. We sit like this till midnight, as neither of us want to move. But eventually we realise we have to leave.

I carry Vic home in my arms. I lay her down on the bed and I sit beside her.

"Will you stay with me?" She asks.

"Always." I say and lay down in the bed next to her.

The next day

I wake up and notice that Vic is already up and out of bed. Can't blame her, it was kind of hard to sleep after what happened yesterday. I walk into the living room where I see her arguing with her mum.

"I think we should go and visit both Briar and Myles' families and make sure they're okay." Vic's mum suggests.

"We are their family." Vic reply's crying again.

Its at that moment that I realise she's right. We were the people closest to Myles and Briar. We are their family. They never had anyone else apart from us ...
