I was running away from beacon tears were running downing my face all of my dreams were crushed. I thought ozpin was a hero but it turns out that hes just like the others. I got on a bullhead and headed into vale.
time skip 2 hours later still rubys pov
I finally got off of the bullhead and check my scroll to see 20 missed calls from yang and another 20 missed calls from ozpin. I also see 55 new texts from yang. I throw my scroll into a wall as i hear it break. Then i keep running threw the city eventually i end up in an alleyway. I look around only to see 3 guys walk out from the shadows.
Guy 1: Well well look what we have here boys.
Guy 2: How ya doing cutie lemme ask ya something do you wanna have some fun?
Ruby: N-no t-thanks.
I try to get past them but the 3rd guy grabs me and holds me back.
Guy 2: Shhh dont scream it will feel really good.
Just then an arrow flys right into the second guys eye killing him. I look over to the side to see the green arrow standing there with 2 arrow drawn.
Green arrow: Leave her alone or ill end your lives.
Guy 1: Oh shit its green arrow lets go!
Both of the other guys run off in fear. I turn to look at green arrow. He gives me a smile as he helps me to my feet.
Green arrow: Ruby right?
Ruby: Y-yeah..
Green arrow: Lets get you back to beacon.
He motions for me to follow him but i grab his arm making him stop.
Ruby: I dont wanna go back..
Green arrow: Oh and whys that?
Ruby: Ozpin...hes a monster i was blinded by his lies.
Green arrow: So then go live your life.
He trys to walk away again but i keep ahold of his arm not letting go.
Ruby: I want you to train me!
He stops trying to walk away and turns around to give me a shocked look.
Green arrow: No you dont trust me.
Ruby: Yes i do i wanna be a vigilante.
Green arrow:...Fine follow me.
He motions for me to follow and i follow close behind. He fires a grappling arrow onto a building and motions for me to grab onto him. I do it and we grapple up onto the building. He then starts jumping from building to build and i follow close behind. Eventually we get to an old building. It has the words queen on it.

Green arrow walks into the building threw a secret passage and i follow behind him. My eyes widen when i see what looks like a base of operation.
Ruby: Woah this is amazing..
Green arrow: Yeah it is.
We walk into a room filled with training dummys and other various things.
Ruby: Oh so were gonna train i hate to break it to ya but i'm pre-
I'm cut off when green arrow delivers a hard punch to my gut making me fall to the ground.
Green arrow: Yeah no you may have had training from taiyang and summer rose but thats nothing compared to the training your about to go threw.
I stand up and get into a fighting stance. Then without a second thought i run at green arrow and try to punch him. But he just catchs my fist and delivers 2 punchs to gut sending me stumbling back.
Green arrow: Again.
I run at him again this time i try to kick him but he just ducks under it. Green arrow then delivers a hard uppercut to my face sending me flying back.
Green arrow: Look clearly your not cut out for this so you should just go back to bea-
I cut him off by standing up and getting back into my stance. He looks shocked.
Ruby: Never i wont give up until i land a hit on you!
I run at him and try to punch him but he just dodges it. I follow up with kick but he catchs my foot and knees me right in the jaw making me fall back to the ground. Green arrow turns to walk away but i slowly stand back up and wipe the blood from lip.
Y/ns pov
I hear ruby stand up and i turn to see her wipe the blood from her lip shes determind ill give her that.
Y/n: your determined ill give you that.
Ruby runs at me again and trys to punch me again but this time i counter the attack and send her flying to the ground. But yet again she gets back up.
Y/n: Tell me what are you trying to prove by getting knocked down over and over?
Ruby: That i am worthy of your training.
I stand there thinking should i train her i mean she would be perfect for the role of arsenal.
Y/n: Fine ill train you but you should know who your partnering with.
I remove my hood and mask to show ruby who i am. She looks at me in shock.
Ruby: Your y/n l/n oliver queens adopted son..but i thought you were a peaceful person you never seemed to wanna fight anyone.
Y/n: Yeah well deep down i wanted to help clean up this city so i joined oliver and became arsenal and now i'm green arrow.
Ruby: I wont let you down y/n i promise you.
Y/n: Ill be holding you to that now lets move.
I walked into the quiver with ruby following close behind. I also knew that i was not alone anymore i had ruby to lean on. This was the start of something great.
