Through moon stricken eyes I see,
Peoples hate, sorrow and insecurity,
I smile and yet I frown, Trying to save those, before they drown,
I wish upon them better fate,
To love themselves, rid them of hate,
Pure light around to cleanse their broken soul,
Though I know it's all beyond my control,
I smile for life and what it brings,
Wishing those could feel these things,
What keys I need to open doors,
What tools to have to mend the floors,
I guess for now patient I'll be,
'Till once at last they learn that they are free.
