I am not myself

It was cold and I was soaked through. I could feel my bones touching the cold ground. And my stomach hurted.

The early morning fog had covered the woods and I stod up and looked around.

Where am I? What was I doing here?

I look at myself. The pyjamas I was wearing was soaked through. And I had leafs all over it.

I start to walk at one direction shakeing from the cold.

I didn't have any shoes and my feet felt like stones.

It took some time before I reached a road. But my head was totaly lost. What had happened? What was wrong with me? How couldn't I remember how I got here?

I walked out to the empty road.

No sign of a house at any direction. So I just stand there in the middle of the road. But then a car stops just a few inches from my body. It was a sheriff car.

"Georgiana!" The man shouts and I stand there looking at the deputy who is running to me and gives me his jacket.

How did he know my name?

"I'm deputy Simons." the man say and help me to his car.

"Yes. Can you please drive me home. My dad should wake up soon." I say and the deputy help me to sit down in the back seat.

He stop at the sheriffdepartment and he help me out. As we walked inside, My dad is sitting on a chair with his hands in his hair.

What was he doing here?

"Dad?" I say and walk towards him.

He looks up from his seat and his face is looking releaved.

He gives me a hard hug before he sits me down next to him.

"Stop scaring me like this Georgiana!" he say and hug me again.

"What were you doing? You were gone for three days." dad say in my ear as he hug me closer.

Three days? How could that be possible? I saw him yesterday. Or didn't I? I couldn"t remember a thing!

One of the deputy is coming to us with some hot chocolate and a warm blanket.

"Georgie?" It was Liam. How could everyone know?

He runs up and hug me tight.

"Who is worried now?" he whisper in my ear.

Then he lets me go and I sit down again.

"I don't remember anything." I say quiet.

They took me to the hospital to make sure I was alright. I could have frozen to death out there.

It seemed like I had just got a black out and it could have happened something to my brain during the attack.

So dad drow me home and I had to lay in bed the rest of the day.

It took some time for me to stop shaking but it did.

"I'm going to work tonight. But I don't want you to be alone, so I sent after that boy, Liam. He should be here soon. And don't go out of bed!" Dad shouts from downstairs before he close the door and I can hear his car start.

"Hey there!" Liam say and walk in to my room. He must have been very quiet.

"Hi!" I whisper. I must have got fever cause I was burning and me head hurted.

"You don't look so nice." he say and walk up to my bed.

"I don't feel so good eather." I say and try to sit up.

"I just don't remember a thing. And it feels like I am turning mad. Is there something wrong with me?" I say and look in to Liams eyes.

"No, you are beautiful and you are not turning mad." Liam say and hug me.

"But I just.. It's like I am living in a nightmare, and then next minute I wake up and... I can't remember how it happened." I say and I start to shake. And I can feel my tears pushing themselfs out.

"It's okay." Liam say to me as I lay there in his arms.

"You will be fine." he say but I can hear on his voice that something is going on. It doesn't sound like it will be fine.

But I don't have the strength to ask why.

Instead I just lay there. Untill I slowly fall asleep.
