Xiumin, a trainee in SM Entertainment for 4 years now, is walking in the hallway when he came across with a guy with camel eyes yet has dinosaur features. ‘Is he new here?’Xiumin thought. LOST….. is what written at the guy’s face as he was fascinated with the environment yet have this worry that he couldn’t find the room specifically for a new trainee like him. ‘Of course, that guy doesn’t want to be late on his first day of training’ Xiumin added in his train of thoughts. He decided to come up and ask the guy.
“Hey, you’re new here right?”Xiumin started. It seems like the guy was startled when a guy probably younger than him (well, because of his features) talked to him.
“Yes I am. By the way, may I ask where the vocal room is? I’ve been walking around here for half an hour now and I can’t seem to find it. Can you please walk me there or please tell me direction?”the guy asks. Xiumin seems fascinated with the stranger’s voice but finally regain consciousness as the guy suddenly pouted in front of him. He felt something weird inside his chest but still managed to answer him “Y-ye-yes, I can walk you to the vocal room. L-let’s g-go” he managed to say stuttering. ‘Heck! Why am I stuttering’ Xiumin scolded himself.
The guy smiled and said “Great, can we go now?” earning a stuttered ‘Yes’ from Xiumin.
The walk to the vocal room is pretty awkward, no one dares to speak up and start a conversation. They kept on walking until they reach the end of the hallway.
“This is it.”Xiumin declared. “Oh thanks.” the guys replied. “By the way my name is Kim Jongdae but you can call me Chen. Nice to meet you..?”he continued. “Kim Minseok, but you can call me Xiumin” Xiumin replied to Chen. “Oh Nice to meet you Xiumin-sshi” Chen said.
Another awkward silence
Then Xiumin’s phone started to ring. It was Luhan so he answered it “Ya! Eodiya? Xiumin-ah!”Luhan yelled at Xiumin. “I’m here outside the vocal room”Xiumin replied. “What are you doing there?” “I just show the new trainee the room. He was lost”. “Oh okay. Hurry up and come back here, NOW!!!” Luhan ended the call.
“Oh, sorry about that. It was my friend, he’s now asking me where I am”Xiumin apologized to Chen
“No, it’s ok. I have to go. Nice meeting you again” Xiumin smiled as a reply to Chen’s statement. “I have to go, bye” “Yeah, bye” Chen replied.
