Ochaco Uraraka - Chapter 7

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion." Aziawa stated as he turned off the projection. Everyone looked at him with their jaws hanging and eyes wide. Aziawa showed us that disturbing grin of his. "It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your Quirks."

"What?!" Midoriya, Iida and the brunette shouted. Midoriya looked like he just saw a ghost.

"Of course that was a lie." One girl said, "It should've been obvious if you just thought it through." She had black hair which was in a ponytail. She looked quite grown up even though she was the same age as everyone else here.

"That was a challenge, wasn't it, y/n?" Mina asked me.

"That's one way to put it. God, I need a nap." I yawned as Mina chuckled. I looked behind her to see two boys having a conversation. The one facing me had black hair, I think his name was Sero or something, and the other one that had his back to me had red hair that stood up on its ends.

"That was a little nerve-wracking, huh?" The black haired one said.

"I'll take up the challenge anytime!" The red head stated confidently. He sounded super familiar.

"Y/n!" Mina shouted as I turned my attention back to her.

"What?"

"You spaced out for a sec."

"Uh huh. I always do." I stated as Mina giggled. 

Everyone turned their attention back to Aziawa as he started to speak. "With that, we're done here. There are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, look over them." He walked over to Midoriya and handed him something, it seemed to be a medical notice.

The day was over in a flash. I was walking down the steps when someone bumped into me. I tripped over my feet and fell. I squeezed my eyes shut and waited to feel the impact of the ground but it never came.

"Oh, sorry I wasn't looking were I was going." I looked up to see the brunette. She used her Quirk to stop me from falling.

"Oh, it's you!" I smiled, still floating in the air.

"Hi!" She beamed as she got me back to my feet and deactivated her Quirk. "It's y/n, right?"

"Yup... I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."

"Oh! I'm Ochaco Uraraka." She held out her hand for me to shake. 

"Nice to meet you Uraraka." I said whilst shaking her hand.

"I was just running to Midoriya and Iida. Wanna come with?"

"Sure."

"Hey! You two!" Uraraka ran up to the boys and I followed suit. "Wait for us!!"

"You're the infinity girl." Iida mumbled  to himself before looking at me. "Greetings y/n."

"Hiya." I smiled.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Um, you're Tenya Iida, and you're Deku Midoriya, right?" She asked.

"'Deku'?!" Midoriya exclaimed, clearly taken aback.

"Huh? But during the fitness test, the boy named Bakugou said, "Deku, you bastard?", right?" Uraraka questioned. Midoriya became quite flustered, almost scared. To be honest I was curious as to why Bakugou would call Midoriya Deku.

"Uh... My real name is Izuku, but D-Deku is what Kacchan calls me to make fun of me..." Midoriya stated looking anywhere but me, Uraraka or Iida.

"So it's like an insult?" I asked, Iida looking at me in agreement.
