Mal
When he woke up, Zoey was still asleep and while he didn't really care, he still got of bed slowly and walked as quietly as he could so he didn't wake her up. He got the last suit in the closet and slowly made his way over to the folding screen and got behind it. (We're going to have to find me more suits, this was the last one in that closet) When he stepped out from behind the folding screen, he saw that Zoey was awake and was staring intensely at the ring he found in the dungeon cell yesterday. (She really likes that ring, I wonder why....oh I know) Then he grinned.
"I dare you to wear that." He said, then laughed when she jumped in the air, looking startled.
"What?" Zoey asked him.
"I dare you to wear that ring the remainder of our time here." He repeated what he said earlier.
"You know this is supposed to be an engagement ring right?" Zoey asked.
"I'm daring you to wear it, not getting down on one knee and asking for your hand in marriage, so will you wear it, I dare you." He dared her again, she chuckled and slid the wizarding ring on her left hand ring finger, then walked over to him
"I'm surprised, it fits perfectly." Zoey said, and held her hand up, he looked at it and saw that it did fit perfectly. (Weird) Then he watched Zoey get clothes for the day.
"You still have to help me with the corset." Zoey said, and got behind the folding screen. (I can't believe I have to help her with this, as far as dating protocol goes I don't think I'm the one that's supposed to help her dress and undress..... but this is annoying Mike, so I think I'll be able to handle seeing her in nothing but an 1800's bra, even though it's embarrassing for the both of us) He waited for Zoey to tell him it was ok for him to go back there. Once he was behind the folding screen he saw Zoey's back, so he walked up to her and started to tighten and tie the laces, every once and a while pushing her forward. At one point he got a glimpse of the ring and he had to admit, it was much prettier than the other, when he was done he left Zoey alone to finish getting her clothes on. When Zoey stepped out from behind the folding screen, they got their video cameras and left the room, as soon as they did they heard a scream coming from somewhere in the mansion, then running footsteps, a gun firing off and a man yelling 'to open the door'. (How did Chris manage to get the managers or whoever, to allow him to send two teenagers to a haunted mansion and a deadly one at that) He and Zoey walked to the kitchen and he noticed on the way there that Zoey was walking a little closer to him. (Seems like she's scared, don't blame her, this place is about to be on my 'I'm never coming here again' list. As he and Zoey walked into the kitchen, he noticed that that Zoey steered clear away from the pantry, while he went to the stove and started to cook breakfast.
"Are you going to tell the camera why you have a new hand accessory?" He asked her, and smirked at her confused expression, until Zoey realized he was talking about the ring on her finger, and when Zoey blushed he laughed.
"You know why I'm wearing this ring." Zoey yelped.
"I do but all the total drama fans and the past contestants probably think we're engaged." He replied.
"You dared me to wear it at least until we can leave this place." Zoey defended herself, and the fact that they weren't engaged.
"There you have it everyone, Zoey has been dared to wear a 107 year old ring for the remainder of our stay here at Flores Mansion, will she take it off who knows." He said jokingly, and he could tell that Zoey was having trouble trying to figure out if he was making fun of her or not. He wasn't, he was trying to lighten the mood so she didn't have to think about what was beneath the pantry.
"If the daughter was getting married, was it common for a girl to have two suitors?" He asked Zoey, while giving her a plate of food.
"Good job, you used the word suitors correctly, but yes sometimes a girl would have two or more suitors." Zoey answered him. (That may be why there are two engagement rings, but was it really the daughter getting married, we did find one of the rings under the bed in her room)
"Is there any indications of there being an arranged marriage or a marriage in general?" He asked.
"Well rumor has it that the Flores let there daughter chose how she lived her life including who she married, whether it's true or not..... well the answer is probably in those journals, so the probability of there being an arranged marriage is low." Zoey answered his.
"Speaking of journals, do you want to read a couple of pages from them?" He asked her, Zoey nodded her head yes since she had food in her mouth. (I guess I'm a good cook after all)
"Do you want to go search for that hidden ballroom before we search the second floor?" Zoey asked him, as she grabbed the empty plates and washed them, he nodded his head. While they walked Mal noticed that Zoey was walking closer to him again.
"Now where was that hidden door?" Zoey asked, he just rolled his eyes. (I'm doing that a lot lately)
"Left wall, middle of it." He answered her, though he knew she was only asking to fill the silence, he didn't know why Zoey felt the need to fill the silence but since he didn't care he didn't ask.
"I think this is it." He said, when they were standing in front of the middle of the left wall. He heard Zoey take a deep breath in then let it out before pushing on the wall, and just like the journal said a little entrance appeared.
"Ladies first." He said, and held a hand towards the little entrance, he was amused when Zoey just shook her head.
"I'm not going first, besides men are supposed to check if a suspicious place is dangerous or not..... you know to keep the lady safe, and since you're the man you're going first." Zoey replied, and tried to push him towards the entrance, he nearly laughed because no matter how much Zoey pushed he wasn't going anywhere. He chuckled and walked through the entrance, and he could tell Zoey was not far behind him.
"Wow." He heard Zoey say when they entered the hidden ballroom. (Indeed) He looked around the room which was covered in rainbows since the sun was hitting the mosaic pieces of the room, which meant the entire room.
"Come on, let's find that staircase." Zoey said, but he was more shocked when Zoey grabbed his hand and dragged him across the room. (She probably doesn't know she grabbed my hand or she's too excited to care)
"You can let go of my hand now." He said, as they walked up the staircase and to the baby grand piano and the violins that were mentioned in the journal.
"Oh sorry." Zoey apologized, quickly letting go of his hand, then he noticed that a blush was starting to cover her face and he smirked. (Maybe I'll torment Mike with this later.....he did see it after all) He watched Zoey walk closer to the piano and press a couple of keys.
"It's out of tune." Zoey commented, as the sound the piano produced echoed across the room and probably the entire house.
"You play?" He asked her, as she walked away from the piano to the railing of the balcony.
"I know how to play a couple of songs.... but otherwise no." Zoey answered, leaning on the railing, he walked up to her and leaned on the railing as well, he also noticed Zoey was blushing again, not as much as before but it was there. (Yep definitely going to torment Mike later)
"Well, while this room is beautiful to look at, we still have the second floor and any secret rooms or hallways we find to search." He heard Zoey say, then watched her walk towards the staircase before quickly following after her. After leaving the ballroom, they made their way to the second floor and started their search through the east wing first.
"We've already searched through these rooms, why are we searching through them again?" He asked, as they continued searching.
"One, we only glanced inside the rooms and two, never hurt to check twice." Zoey replied, he could hear the unspoken 'unless it's the dungeon' at the end of that sentence. After they searched every room on the east wing except for the last two and the one on the left was theirs, so they skipped over it and went straight to the one on the right.
"Well this one definitely looks like it was used at one point." He commented, as he and Zoey walked into the room. (I wonder by whom, it was definitely a boy though) He looked into the closet and found suits not dresses, then he walked over to the unmade bed and saw a piece of paper and picked it up.
"What's that?" He heard Zoey ask him, he glanced up and saw that Zoey was looking at him from the window.
"It's a note." He answered her.
"What's it say?" Zoey asked him, he continued to look at her for a second before looking down at the piece of paper.
"I need to talk to you, meet me in the garden at midnight." He recited, when he glanced back up at Zoey, he saw that she was standing right next to him, he also noticed that she was going to say something but a banging noise from above them interrupted her.
"Leave, leave, leave!" They heard someone shout, then a gun shot, then what sounded like cell doors slamming shut and opening up again. (When this is over, Chris is in so much trouble) he looked down at Zoey and saw that she was holding on to his hand and was slightly more pale than usual.
"Scared." He teased, and smirked when Zoey glared at him. (That has no effect..... but I'll give you points for trying)
"I'm not scared..... I'm just not used to someone yelling leave, a gun firing off, then what sounded like cell doors banging shut then opening up again in an otherwise empty house." Zoey defended herself, then he smirked when he saw that Zoey was still holding his hand.
"If you want to hold hands you could have just asked." He commented. (Definitely going to torment Mike later) he watched Zoey look down, saw that she was still holding his hand, then quickly let go.
"Let's just go look through the rooms on the west wing." Zoey ordered, and he knew that the order was mostly to cover her embarrassment.
"Are you sure that you want to go looking through the rooms on the west wing?" He asked.
"Scared?" Zoey asked. (Good job using my words against me)
"No." He replied.
"Well then lets go." Zoey said, and he found it kind of funny, when she pointed at the door.
"Let me get these clothes then we can leave room." He responded, then started to gather the clothes that were in the room.
"Ready?" Zoey asked, he nodded his head and since his hands were full Zoey had to open and close the doors to both the room they were using and the one they just left, then they started to search the rooms on the west wing.
"If this is going to be like the other hallway, this room is going to be the only room with anything interesting." He commented, when they were standing in front of the last room on the hallway, which was next to the staircase leading up to the third floor.
"Maybe." Zoey replied, and when she opened the door she gasped.
"What's that reaction for?" He asked her, when Zoey didn't answer, he looked into the room himself and saw why Zoey gasped. On the wall near the desk was a blood stain with a bullet hole in the middle of it.
"I'll look near the desk if you search everywhere else." He suggested. (I guess she's in agreement then) he watched her go to the other side of the room, the first thing he did was inspect the bullet hole in the wall and unsurprisingly he found a bullet but he noticed that it was slightly bigger than the other one. He looked around the desk and found nothing except for a piece of piece of paper that said 'I need to get those rings' on it.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen." He heard Zoey say from across the room.
"What are you talking about?" He asked her, turning around to look at her.
"It's on this piece of paper." Zoey answered, he noticed that she was holding a piece of paper.
"Did you find anything else?" He asked her, as he walked up to Zoey.
"Just clothes that look like the one's you got from that last room." Zoey replied.
"Well instead of standing here, how about we talk about what we found later." He suggested. (I know this room is probably a murder scene but really you don't have to move that quickly) he watched Zoey practically run from the door.
"Alright, why did..... well run to the door?" He asked Zoey as they walked to the kitchen.
"I just didn't feel comfortable being in a room where a murder probably took place." Zoey replied. (That may be true but you're not telling me everything) he didn't say anything for the rest of the walk to the kitchen.
"Those rooms were where the brothers were staying weren't they?" He asked as he and Zoey ate, but before Zoey could answer they heard what sounded like wailing as well as cell doors slamming shut and opening up, and it sounded like the noises were coming from where they found the dungeon.
"Well from what we've found from both rooms, then yeah I guess the rooms were for the brothers." Zoey answered, and he noticed that she she grew paler than earlier.
"And the notes?" He asked, and pulled out the notes they found in the last room they looked through.
"I don't know, but something happened." Zoey answered, and held out her hand, he rolled his eyes and gave Zoey the notes.
"How big would that something be?" He asked.
"They didn't want it leaving the house." Zoey answered, and handed the notes back to him.
"So it was a scandal." He commented, as he watched Zoey stand up and grab both their plates.
"Don't you remember my history lesson, there's already a scandal." Zoey replied.
"I hate admitting it but for this one you're a step ahead of me, so what are you talking about?" He asked scowling. (I really hate admitting when I don't know something) he watched Zoey think about her answer.
"Everyone knows..... well at least the rumors of what happened, what nobody knows is what happened to cause those rumors, that's what I'm talking about. These notes including the one upstairs, they suggest that something big happened and that somebody didn't want it getting out... I guess it kind of worked nobody knows exactly what happened here." Zoey explained, while he watched her clean the dishes.
"Is there a reason why you got those bullets?" Zoey asked him, as they walked back to the room they were using.
"I wanted to see if the bullets were the same." He answered.
"Were they?" Zoey asked.
"No they weren't." (Why are you interested) He answered her.
"So different guns?" Zoey asked, as they entered...... well their room, at least for the time being anyway.
"Yeah, here look at them yourself." He answered, and set the bullet down next to the one he found in the cell down in the dungeon. (What is she doing) he watched Zoey look between the two bullets.
"One bullet is for a handgun and the other is a rifle." Zoey said, but he knew she was talking to herself.
"And how exactly do you know that?" He asked. (She might've been talking to herself but I'm curious) he waited for her to answer.
"I took an interest in learning everything I could about fire arms." Zoey answered.
"Would that have anything to do with your cousin?" He asked.
"No that would be my fault, after I accidentally shot my aunt in the foot with a paint ball with a realistic looking paint ball gun. My father and uncle thought it best to teach me how to tell the difference between a real gun and a toy gun that looks like a real gun..... and well the teaching went overboard. " Zoey explained why she was interested in fire arms, after a second of silence he started to laugh.
"It's not funny." He heard Zoey say through his laughing.
"Yes it is.... there's more to you than I thought." He said once he stopped laughing, then he smirked when she blushed.
"At least I can tell which gun was used in which room." Zoey said, and he knew she was trying to steer the conversation away from her family. (I'll leave you alone about your family for now, but I'll be asking about them later)
"Alright which gun was used in which room?" He asked.
"The hand gun was used in the dungeon while the rifle was used in the room we just found." Zoey answered. (Confident are we)
"Can you tell anything else about the bullets?" He asked.
"The bullets no.... I'm not that good, but I think I learned something from the bloodstains." Zoey answered.
"Do tell detective." He said, and smirked when Zoey started blushing again.
"I'm not a detective, my cousin just loved science and he loved to drag me to every science convention he was able to go to, so I've seen a lot of human diagrams. Anyway back on topic, let's start with the room that we just found, if whoever got shot there was the same height as you.... well that would have been a head-shot so whoever died there died instantly. Now as for the dungeon, if we still go by your height and you were sitting down the bullet wound would be a couple of inches above the heart so it would have been a slow death. But the problem is that there is so much blood, it couldn't have come from just the gun shot wound. I think something else happened..... I think whoever died down there, died more from blood loss than the gun shot wound." Zoey finished her rather lengthy explanation.
"Impressive work detective." He complimented her.
"Again I'm not a detective but thank you. Anyway I was just guessing...... the journals might have something about it though." Zoey suggested, after denying being a detective again.
"Well let's get started before the batteries on these cameras die." He replied, grabbed the journals and gave the journal Zoey read from last night to her, then sat down on the couch.
"Ladies first." He said, once Zoey had sat down next to him.
"Such a gentleman." Zoey responded.
"I am not." He denied, and acted like she just insulted him. (I wonder if I can get her to actually laugh) he watched Zoey chuckle a little.
"Alright let's get started, how many pages should I read?" Zoey asked, while opening up the journal.
"How about only a couple of pages tonight, I don't think these cameras are going to last much longer." He answered her, Zoey nodded her head and turned to the second entry in the journal.
March 2nd 1905,
It took forever for the William's family to arrive, I asked daddy why it was taking them so long he said it was because they live closer to the city and we don't. When the William's family arrived, Matthew Williams apologized for being late, which he was quickly forgiven then he said that we could call him Matthew including me, then he introduced his sons I'll write their names down later. While I'm on the topic of the brothers, I learned that they're identical twins there was some differences though like one had a deeper voice than the other, also their attitudes are different from one another. An example would be that one brother has a devil may care attitude meaning I think he's the bad boy of the two, while the other has a I follow the rules attitude meaning he's the good boy. Anyway that's enough details on them for now, after all the introductions were made daddy told me to show the three around the house and I did, I started with the first floor..... well after I told them they would have to carry their stuff because I would be showing them where their rooms were. Matthew asked why I would be doing all that and not the employees here, I told him that the employees had enough to do, and I wanted to show them a few hidden rooms. Then he asked about their luggage, I told him that he and his sons look like they were capable to carry their own stuff for twenty minutes. When I said that Matthew looked.... well I think impressed, bad boy laughed and good boy looked shocked, guess he never heard a girl speak her mind before. While I showed them the first floor I left out my personal ballroom and the kitchen, I told them I would show them that later. When we got to the top of the stairs to the second floor, I looked at bad boy and told him on the right hallway or the east wing, that if he went to the end of the hall and to the right there would be a room.... that would be his room, then I turned and looked at good boy and told him on the left hallway or west wing, at the end of the hallway next to the staircase there would be a room and that would be his room. Then I told them that they could put their stuff away, when they came back I took the three of them to the third floor since there aren't any hidden rooms on the second floor. I had to show Matthew where his room was because from the third floor up the house gets a little harder to navigate, once Matthew had his stuff in his room I decided to show them the two hidden rooms on the third floor one of them was actually next to Matthew's room. Next to his room was a light switch, instead of controlling one of the hallway lamps, it controls part of the wall next to Matthew's room, inside the hidden room it looks like a empty hospital room complete with everything that goes with a hospital room. They looked at me in confusion. I told them it was for when somebody got hurt or for child birth, that's why the room is hidden so the soon to be mother could have privacy during and after labor. Bad boy asked about the second usage of the room, I told them the story of when my family had a few guest over and one of them went into labor, unfortunately we couldn't move her because we didn't want to harm her or the baby so the poor woman went through labor for the whole world to see. Matthew, bad boy and good boy didn't give me much of a reaction to the story so I showed them the other hidden room on the third floor. To find the room, if you are coming up from the second floor the room is on the left and all you have to do is press on the wall and you will be able to get into the room. The Williams family was shocked to find what was inside the room, of course anybody would be shocked if you found a playground in someone's house. Good boy asked why there was a playground in the house, I told them that the playground was for whenever I'm bored or there are guest over with little kids and the children don't want to hear the grown ups talk. I told them that the fourth, fifth and attic would have to wait for another time, Matthew asked why not show us them now, I told him that it was almost time for dinner and I still needed to show them the kitchen and what's there. I also told them that the fourth and fifth floor were mostly hidden rooms and most of them are off limits unless I say so, but if they really wanted to know what's up there all they had to do was find me, which would either be in the playground room or the sitting room. After that I led them to the kitchen, into the pantry and what I call the underground pantry, then under the underground pantry was what I wanted to show them, that was also when I started liking bad boy more than good boy. Reason being is that while bad boy didn't say anything he did have a grin on his face so I'll take that as approval, but good boy he yelled who was insane enough to build a dungeon under a house. I guess they weren't used to outburst like that because Matthew and bad boy looked at good boy shocked, when Matthew looked over at me he asked who decided to have a dungeon under the house. I told him I was the one who decided to have a dungeon and in fact almost all the hidden rooms and hallways were designed by me unless I asked my mother for help. There were different reactions from the bothers, bad boy looked at me in shock and wonderment, while good boy looked ashamed...... good because I'm still mad at him. During dinner there was little conversation but when there was it was light topics like the weather, that is until Matthew asked daddy why he let me have a dungeon under the house. Daddy told him that the hidden rooms are birthday presents so I'm allowed to have whatever type of room I want, but at the time daddy did ask me why a dungeon, I told Matthew that at the time I thought it would be funny to have something creepy under the house, also it could be used as a wine cellar and basement. I also told him the cells work like actual cells and they can only be open from the outside. After that was explained dinner conversation went back to being light, when dinner was done everyone went to bed..... well I'm still up but I wanted to write about today's events, oh and before I forget the brother's names are-
"You have got to be kidding me!" Zoey suddenly yelled out.
"I don't think their names were that." He replied to Zoey's outburst. (Another point for the glare) he watched Zoey glare at him then point at the spot where she left off in the journal, he sighed and read aloud.
The brothers names are..... Mal.... and Mike..... Mal being bad boy....... and Mike being good boy.
"How is that possible?" Zoey asked shocked, but he wasn't able to answer her.
"Read one more entry then I'll go...we might learn what the daughters name was." He replied after a minute, Zoey nodded her head and began to read the next entry.
March 9th 1905,
The Williams family have been here for a week and Mike has almost stomped on every last one of my nerves, on top of that daddy still hasn't told me why they are here, oh well I'll find out eventually. As far as Mal goes, I spend most of my time with him.... mostly because Mal hasn't made fun of any of the hidden rooms or hallways that I have shown him, he hasn't gotten on my nerves and well that's it at the moment since I don't know much about him, but it's fun being around him in general so I don't mind. Now as far as Mike goes..... he would make a good friend, I wish he wouldn't make fun of the hidden rooms and hallways I've shown him and Mal..... I worked very hard on designing those rooms and hallways. There's also something weird going on with Mike, he said he was working for an acting career if so he's really dedicated. Some other interesting things happened, when I told daddy and mom what rooms I gave the Williams family, daddy raised an eyebrow and asked me if I knew that I placed Mal right next to my room. I said yes but I wasn't really thinking about it, then daddy asked if I was going to change where Mal was staying, I told him no and that I don't see a reason why I should, mom's giggling turned into laughter after I said that and daddy shook his head and told me it was getting late and to go to bed. Not long after that Mal found out his room was next to mine and he started to laugh too, at least Matthew and Mike haven't found out that Mal's room is next to mine, I really don't want to know their reactions.
"That it?" He asked, once Zoey stopped reading aloud.
"Yeah." Zoey answered, he nodded his head then started to read aloud from the journal in his hands.
March 2nd 1905,
I don't know why I have to write in this stupid thing it's so bothersome but father is making me. Speaking of which he still hasn't told me or my idiot brother Mike why we were going to the Flores family's home, but I guess I'll figure it out later. When we arrived I was expecting a small house not a mansion and from the looks on my father's face he wasn't expecting a mansion either, we were greeted by the family on the front steps and they introduced themselves, and the Flores matriarch and patriarch said that we could call them by their names, so it's now Thomas and Cora. As far as their daughter goes which shall remain nameless for the time being..... well from the looks of her, she's a goody two shows and I'm daddy's little girl type, which I find annoying but we'll see if she's actually annoying or not, it's only day one and today was just a tour. As far as that tour went..... well I found it amusing, her father made her do the tour and father had to ask why she would be showing us around and in the Flores daughters words, she said that the employees have enough to do and she wanted to show us a couple hidden rooms. Then father asked about our luggage, she said that we looked capable to carry our things for twenty minutes which made me laugh. After that she showed us around the first floor, though she left out the kitchen saying something about showing that last, when we got to the second floor she told me my room was at the end and to the right of the right hallway then she told my brother that his room was at the end of the left hallway next to the staircase. After we put our stuff away, she led to the third floor and the layout of the third floor was weird, there was a hallway in front of us a wall of the left of us, a right hallway with a staircase at the end, and in between the hallway in front of us and the right hallway was a staircase. We walked down the hallway in front of us and she showed father his room, when he got back she flipped a light switch that was next to father's room and a door opened..... honestly how rich is this family.... well when the door opened we saw that the room was a hospital room, she told us the room was for when someone was hurt or going through labor, I asked about the second one, she told us some story about a guest went into labor and they weren't able to move her. We left the room after that and father had to close the door.... guess the light switch doesn't close it, she led us to the second floor staircase and instead of going down the right hallway, she pushed her hand on the wall that should have been the left hallway. Another hidden room was revealed and I'm not joking the room was a playground. Mike asked why a playground was in the house, she said it was for whenever she was bored or if there were guest over that had young children and they didn't want to hear the grown ups talk. Then she told us that the fourth, fifth and attic would have to wait for another day, said something about dinner and showing us the kitchen. She also told us that the fourth and fifth floor were mostly hidden rooms and hallways and most of those were off limits, but if we really wanted to see some of the hidden rooms all we would have to do was ask and we could either find her in the playground room or the sitting room. After that she took us to the kitchen, the pantry, the what I guess is the underground pantry, then under that and again I'm not joking a dungeon, this was where things got a little more interesting. Mike yelled who was insane enough to build a dungeon under their house, the outburst shocked both me and father after a minute father asked her who decided to build a dungeon under the house. She said that she was the one who decided to have a dungeon, in fact almost all the hidden rooms and hallways are by her. I have never seen Mike look so ashamed before or a girl look at him with murder in her eyes, so yes now I think this stay just got a little more interesting. Dinner was boring until father asked Thomas about the dungeon, Thomas told father that the dungeon as well as the other hidden rooms and hallways were birthday presents for his daughter..... the girl is definitely daddy's little girl..... anyway Thomas's daughter said that the dungeon is used as a wine cellar and basement and the cell doors work like real ones except without the keys. Nothing interesting happened after that and everyone went to bed, before I forget the Flores daughters name is-
He suddenly stopped speaking and handed the journal to Zoey, Zoey looked at him confused but read aloud the rest of the sentence.
The Flores daughters name is...... Zoey.
Zoey finished and looked up at Mal shocked.
"Let's see what the other entry says before anything else." He suggested, and Zoey nodded her head giving him the journal. (This is getting too weird) he started to read aloud the next entry.
March 9th 1905,
We've been here a week and I can tell that Mike has stomped on almost all of Zoey's nerves, I can tell because he does that to me everyday. Since Mike annoys her, she spends more time with me than him, not that I mind she's actually really interesting and surprisingly not annoying. I think Mike forgot who made the hidden rooms because when Zoey showed father, myself and Mike some more hidden rooms Mike started insulting the rooms again which made Zoey even more mad. Though I think a tiny bit of it could be blamed on his 'acting' problem, and I can't wait for when Zoey finds out what his 'acting'problem actually is. I don't know how she'll react but if it's the way I think it is then I want to see it, I also found out that Zoey's room is right next to mine which I found funny. As far as not finding out anything father still hasn't told us why we are staying with the Flores family, I guess I'll find out later.
He went quiet and shut the journal, luckily he finished reading the entry before the cameras died.
"What do you think about the whole same name business?" Zoey asked him. (What do I think, I don't even know what I think)
"Maybe reincarnation, but who knows if that is real, plus we don't know what they look like and we'll be lucky to find a photograph of any sort." He answered anyway, as he watched Zoey plug the cameras to their chargers and put the journals back on the dresser that held the other clues they found.
"I thought maybe Chris, but nobody's been up here for years, and he wouldn't have been able to find the journals that quickly and write full events and know the exact location of where everything was, that and the writing doesn't look fresh." Zoey replied.
"If this is a coincidence, it's an unbelievable one." He commented.
"But out of the other two it's the most believable one." Zoey replied.
"Then should we just leave it at that until proven otherwise?" He asked, Zoey nodded her head then grabbed a night dress and walked behind the folding screen, while he waited for her to call him back to help her, he got some night clothes.
"You can come back here." Zoey called out, he walked behind the folding screen and saw her only in the corset.
"You're really quiet right now." He commented, as he untied Zoey's corset.
"I'm just getting a bad feeling about what could be at the end of those journals." Zoey explained.
"I know what you mean." He replied, as he untied the last lace on the corset.
"Good, now you get on the other side of the folding screen I'm not ready for anybody to see me naked." Zoey said, as she shooed him to the other side of the folding screen.
"When you say anybody do you mean anybody?" He asked slyly.
"Yes I mean anybody." Zoey called out otherwise her voice would've been muffled.
"Aww and here I thought you were finally warming up to me." He said jokingly, and he got two reactions from it, a corset to the face and he could hear snickering.
"Are these things comfortable?, also good throw." He asked her, as Zoey walked up to him.
"Nice catch, if corsets were comfortable women might still be wearing them." Zoey answered, as he got behind the folding screen.... well after he dropped the corset to the floor.
"You don't seem uncomfortable in it." He replied.
"That's because for some reason you are good at how tight to tie those laces." Zoey said.
"I guess you got lucky then." He said, and stepped out from behind the folding screen, and saw that Zoey was already in the bed with her hair down.
"Night." Zoey said, once he was in bed, he nodded his head at her, then she turned off the lamp and went to sleep. (Now I'm going to torment Mike for a little bit)
Mike
He was having a minor panic attack when Mal showed up on the mirror.
"What's wrong with him?" He heard Mal ask, and hearing Mal's voice shocked him out of his panic attack and now he was just angry.
"Why did you make Zoey wear that engagement ring?!" He yelled out the question to Mal.
"I didn't make her do anything, I don't know why you're worried it's not like I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me." Mal said.
"In my day you didn't need an engagement ring you were either getting married or not." Chester commented.
"That's not helping Chester." Svetlana said.
"What about the hand holding?" He asked. (Are you trying to take her away from me)
"Honestly the first time she was excited so she probably didn't notice and the second time she was scared." Mal answered.
"What about the question of if you want to hold hands all you have to do is ask?" He asked. (What are you trying to prove Mal)
"One I was trying to make her blush, two this place is scary so who knows how many times she'll grab my hand because she's scared so I made an offer." Mal replied, and he could tell Mal was getting annoyed.
"Yo, what about the flirting five minutes ago?" Vito asked.
"I wasn't flirting I was trying to lighten the mood, we are reading from dead teenagers journals who happen to have the same name as us, and if you remember correctly the Flores daughter killed herself and the Williams brothers were probably murdered. So stop worrying over something that's not happening and pay attention to the fact we are in a very haunted and possibly very dangerous mansion!" Mal somehow managed to yell that out and growl at the same time before disappearing from the mirror.
"I don't like to admit it but he has a point." Manitoba said.
"I..... I know." He replied. (It's not just the jealousy, I'm also worried about her, Mal might not hurt her physically but he could if he really wanted to hurt her emotionally...... I just hope he's not that cold-hearted, I also hope he'll protect.... I know we're in danger here) he watched his other multiple personalities play another round of go fish as they waited for Mal to wake up.
