Burning Desire

Dianne's POV

We pull apart from each other, panting slightly, grinning widely at each other "I don't know where this is going..." I look up again at Joe, "but I love it!".

Joe's POV 

I smile up at Dianne, I loved hearing her happy, it made my heart smile. We slowly put our clothes back, standing up once we were done. Dianne put some softer music on, on her phone whilst I walked over to the balcony and unlocked the door. Walking up to the metal railings I feel a warmth from behind me, Di had her arms wrapped tightly around my waist, I twisted her around so she was able to see the beautiful glowing street lights, we didn't talk, we just stood together taking it all in, neither one of us wanting the moment to end. 

The next day ( Dianne's POV )

It was now Friday, I had spent the night at my temporary flat as I had spent yesterday with my brother it was nice to catch up with him to tell him how the dance was going so far, however, I didn't mention Joe at all, I didn't know if he wanted to tell anyone about this, I didn't even know what we were!  

I was getting a little stressed about our dance, I really wanted it to be perfect, I had an amazing feeling about this year and I wanted to do all I could to make sure that nothing went wrong, I know how hard Joe was trying and I didn't want to let him down.

It was 2pm, and we had just started rehearsing the dance together, we had all afternoon to work on the monor details and perfect it for the big show tomorrow! 

Joe's POV 

My whole body ached, I had been doing so much recently, on top of all this dancing I had been going to the gym every other day, "ahhh!" I groan as I go to do the iconic fortnite move "My whole body kills..." i grunt, stretching trying to relieve some of the tension in my back.

Dianne's POV

I walk up to Joe, smirking "Hey... if you work extra hard and push through ill give you a massage tomorrow night, it will be worth it, I promise!" I wink, hoping that would do the trick to get him to continue.

"DEAL!" Joe grins, pressing play on the music, getting ready to start again "I knew you would have me wrapped around your finger" he teases as I count, getting ready to start... "five, six, seven, eight!" 

Our training was very productive today, unsurprisingly! We were both feeling confident about the show tomorrow, or more specifically, what was happening after...!

After training

Once we had finished training for the day, Joe and I parted ways, him going back to his house, whilst I went back to my flat, the only reason I agreed to leave him for a few hours was because we were meeting up for dinner.

As soon as I got in I peeled off my clothes and put my dressing gown on, I strolled into the bathroom and ran myself a hot bubble bath. 

Whilst the bath ran I walked into my room to decide what to wear later, I looked through my clothes to find the perfect outfit for Joe, I looked long and hard before I finally settled on a navy halter back dress, it was relatively simple, yet super flattering!

I hung the dress up on my wardrobe, and I went to the cupboard to get a bath bomb, I pick out a pink one in the shape of a heart, filled with rose petals, I drop it into the bath and get in, leaning back, thinking of the other night, I smile to myself.

Joe's POV 

I can't wait to have dinner with Di later, I think to myself, I hope she likes the place... I didn't have much to do to get ready as I had already picked out my outfit this morning, black jeans and a white shirt, can't go wrong with a simple outfit! I have a quick shower and shave once I get out making sure I look good for Dianne. 

A few hours had passed and I drive to Dianne's house to pick her up, I walk up to her front door and knock, it doesn't take her long to answer and once she does I present her with a small bunch of red roses. She looked just like a princess she was beautiful.

Dianne's POV

"Joeeee!" i gasp! thank you so much!! I reach out hugging him tightly, taking the flowers off him and putting them on the side in my flat so we could leave straight away, "ill sort them when I get back" I say smiling gratefully. 

We had a lovely Dinner, Joe took me to this rooftop restaurant, it was beautiful, it had fairy lights all around the edge, and a small band playing. It reminded me of a couple nights ago. We ate Italian, I had lasagna and Joe had a carbonara the food was great, they had a bar in the corner, it was all rustic themed, Joe brought me drinks all night, mainly gin and tonics which we enjoyed together.

For pudding we both ordered gelato, they came in large vases topped with vanilla wafers and a drizzling on mint chocolate sauce "thank you Di, for everything, I really appreciate how hard you work to make sure i'm the best I can be I am so grateful, I know we haven't really talked about what we are much but..." he pauses, I could tell he was sweating slightly, he was fidgeting in his chair and playing with his fingers, "would you like to be my girlfriend" He asks.

I didn't have to think about the answer at all, it felt so natural being with Joe, he was my everything and we went even together... "YES!!" I jump up, walking around to him to kiss him softly, overwhelmed and completely in awe. We're going to be great together, I just know it...

A/N wooooh! I wonder how long their secret relationship will last...?!
