Connor P.O.V.

You forget certain memories from your past. You dont realise it you just do. They are not as significant as other. However, those memories can come back. Any small or big thing can trigger it.

It had been seven years since I last saw Luke. He was ten. sweet kid. Now he is back living in the same house, talking through  the same window with my sister. Who, by the way has not idea who he is. I am not even sure if I want her to remember. She could freak out, have a break down. IT could destory her knowing.

Luke on the other hand, he is seventeen. He could be a prick. Maybe just take my sister for a mugg. Use her and hurt her more than anybody else could.

Me and the blonde haired boy stared intensely through the window. His eye wide with fear, sort of begging me to be quite. Praying I woulden't tell her who he was. I kind of guessed he always had a small childish crush on my baby sister, but I thought that's all it was. Nothing more, nothing less. However, the way he looked at me with a message hidden in his eyes was telling me something different.

Maybe the Luke from seven years ago, is still the same sweet hearted, caring Luke he is now. I inahled a large breath and let out a small chuckle causing, both Luke and Cleo to scrunch their eyebrows up in confusion.

"Sorry, I thought you were someone else. A friend a know from when I was in school." He let out a breathy chuckle, secretly thanking me, I guess. Cleo looked at me for a second, not belieiving the BS I was feeding her. After a second of two she smile at me and turns to Luke.

"Well, Connor this is Luke, Luke this is my brother Connor. And you already know my other little brother Tyler."

Luke nodded and smiled at my sister. His eyes held something that I couldent pin point. The way they looked at my sister, with such intestity and emotions. It was sweet. He seemed to show so many feelings through once glance. Plesaure, admiration, they adored her, watching carfully every movement and listened to the words she spoke. They showed a different kind of love. He showed her the love that a man gives his wife on their wedding day.

I smiled slightly as I saw her face light up when he laughed or he said something funny. I think she was also in love with the boy who used me to be her childhood crush. My smile turned downwards,it was sad to think she wouldent remember the cute feeling she had towards him. The way she a small gesture of them holding hands would make her heart flutter, even at such a young age.

The dam accident changed it all. At least I could see that Lukes intentions with my sister were real. I could happily leave them and be happy with it. I picked Tyler off Cleo's bed, he was slowly drifting off to sleep. I dont think he really understood what was going on. He snuggled his head in my shoulder, his little thumb placed gently in his mouth.

"Hey Tyler," He mumbled something but his eyes were just on the verge of closing. "Guess you tired, little man." He nodded slightly and took him off to his room. Placing him on his bed, his head hit the pillow, his arms immeditly following. I tucked him in and brought the cover up to his chin.

I headed down stair and made my way towards the kitchen. I grabbed a yellow wide coffee mug and heated up coffee in the machine. Minutes later I poured it out and sat at the breakfast table slowly sipping the beverage. The drink had cream on top and its sweetness was relaxing. I was lost in thought when I heard footsteps head into the kitchen.

"Is the coffee still warm?" I nodded and smiled up at Cleo. She took out a red mug and poured it with coffee than sat opposite of me.

"You not talking to Luke?" I asked honestly curious. She shook her head. "He had to go run som errands, you know." I nodded and with that we sat in silence just looking into the black drink. I watched as she ran her index finger round the top of the mug. Normally sitting in silence with Cleo was comfortable, this just felt odd.

"I know your lying Connor. Your hiding something?" She didnt once look up from her mug. I gulped, I wasent going to tell her. That was down to mum and dad not me. I mean granted I saved her life and pulled her out the dam water, becasue no one else would, but it was not my place to tell her about it.

"I'm not Cleo. I think your just imagining things."  She shook her head. "No, i'm not. You know Luke dont you?" Again she kept her eyes locked on the coffee. She wanted the truth, but I couldent give that to her. So I did what I know would shut her up. I slammed my hand on the breakfast table. "Enough!" She looked up and was shocked. It had been years since I shouted at her. "No!" Cleo never really spoke back after I yelled, she was to scared normally. "You know something Connor. I want to know." She whispered and than got up from the kitchen, leaving to go back to her room.

I rubbed my hand over my face. I hated that I upset Cleo. Urghh. I slammed my fist against the breakfast table. I made my way up stair to her room where she held a box in her hand. I knew that box. It was the box we had when she was in hospital. I watched through the crack of the door and watched as she empitied the box and looked at each picutre and diary that was inside.

She laughed at the ones of her and Michael. Smiled at the cute family ones. Her hand accidently brushed  against a pile of pictures knocking them on the floor. Leaning down, she picked them up. she placed them on the bed again. I carried on watching as she examined teh photos and smiling. I was about to leave when I saw a white envelope under the bed side table. I never seen that before.

Walking into her room, picking up the envelope and handed it to her. She looked up to me and smiled, making room for her on bed. We never really fought for long. Opening the envelope she picked out the pictures. Her eyebrow sruched once again in confusion. Then she dropped the photo. She lifted herself off her bed and ran to her window looking over to Luke room at his laptop, where it was still open. I looked down at the picture and than at his desktop. The picture was the same. She looked back at me and then the window.

I watched as Cleo closed her eyes and held her head. She started swaying and her face looked pale from what I saw. Then before I knew it she was on the floor out cold.
