EYES BUSILY SCANNING OVER THE NOVEL IN FRONT OF HER, Ryeon attempted to study for her upcoming English exam the next day. Her head ached from staring at the monochromatic pages for so long, and trying to stuff the information in to her brain, whilst her shoulders had began to shiver from the sheer coldness of the room she was situated in.
With a low groan, the girl wearily lifted herself from the seat she had been sitting in. Deep purples and murky browns had formed underneath her eyes, and god was she tired. But she wasn't about to go to bed now, oh no. Ryeon left her room and traipsed down to her brother's room instead. They were pretty close, after all, Ryeon was the only one in the family to truly care about him. Her mother and father never normally blinked an eye at his antics, so Ryeon was basically the only one to even bother to speak to him.
She knocked on his door once, then twice, until a grumble from the other side told her that she was able to enter.
The girl opened the door slowly, her body slinking in before she shut the door once more. She noticed that her brother had a friend over, but he had his back turned to her as the two were busy playing some sort of video game on the television.
"Hey," She said casually, allowing for her bodice to manoeuvre its way across his room. She quickly snatched one of his blankets from his bed and slung it across her shoulders.
"What are you guys up to?" She then asked the duo, deciding to sit on her brother's bed. Her coffee eyes were focused lazily on her brother, but soon they rounded when his friend turned around to answer her.The boy had bruises and scratches across his face, a single plaster stuck across the bridge of his nose.
He paused once he saw her, obviously after having met her in that alleyway before. Were they supposed to act like they'd already met? No. That'd be stupid. Plus, Yuta would start to interrogate him if they did.Jaemim threw a tight-lipped smile into her direction, as if trying to telepathically tell her not to mention or say anything about that day. She seemed to be a step ahead though, as she gave him a small wave and said: "It's nice to meet you. I'm Yuta's sister, Ryeon."
He took a deep breath, and began to respond, ever-so-grateful towards her. "Na Jaemin. I guess you could call me and your brother friends." He replied in such a boyish and confident tone, that Ryeon wondered if this was the same boy who she'd assisted in the alley.
Ryeon smiled at him, before standing up from her spot and walking towards the two boys. She sat beside her brother and watched how his fingers seemed to work like magic upon the controller in his hand. She wasn't an expert at gaming or anything, but she could appreciate someone who was.
"What game is this?" She asked quietly, the question seemingly open to be answered by any or both of the boys."Mario Kart." Her brother responded back smugly, only to have Ryeon scoff in disgust.
"I'm not an idiot. I just so happen to be a master at Mario Kart, so I'd know it if I saw it."Yuta pinched her leg at this, a smirk bestowed across his features as he did. Ryeon simply gave a yelp and began to rub the sore area, glaring up at him as she did so.
A small chuckle broke her from her current staring though, and before she knew it, Jaemin had answered her question.
"It's called Farcry. We're playing the fourth one."
At this, Ryeon decided to test her luck a little bit. She shuffled over to sit beside Jaemin and tossed a cocky grin towards his direction.
"Mind if I play for a bit?" Cautiously, the words were plucked from her lips.
The boy beside her was smooth though, and he simply nodded, before handing the controller over to her within one swift movement."Thanks." Was her only reply as she delved into action beside her brother.
Jaemin scooted back to give her space, all the while watching her movements. He felt awkward around her, and now he would feel awkward around Yuta. After all, if he found out that Ryeon was the one who had come to his aid, he'd most-likely hold a grudge against Jaemin for the rest of his life. That was something that he didn't want to happen, so he could only hope that she'd keep her mouth shut.

JUST AS RYEON HAD PASSED THE CONTROLLER BACK TO JAEMIN, a knock on the door broke the three from their activity.
Suddenly, another boy walked through the frame, his confidence basically radiating off of him. "Ahh, Haechan. Late per usual, I see." Yuta drew out, a sigh leaving from his lips as he wearily held his hand out for the other boy to shake.
"You know what they say, Yuta. Better late than never." The golden-haired teen responded back, a chuckle escaping from his lips as he flamboyantly clasped his elder's hand with his own.
Is this just a whole big gang orgy or what? Ryeon questioned herself inwardly, her gaze travelling across the newcomer and his familiar face.
"Nice to meet you again, Ryeon." Haechan piped up, as he began to make his way over to the brunette. He opened his arms up wide, and which made the girl's expression spark up into that of a confused one. He better not fucking hug me.
"Don't you dare, thot." She whispered just as he was within earshot from her. Her narrowed eyes and crossed arms only made her 'I dare you to fuck with me' aura darken.
Haechan seemed to back off at this, and just simply shrugged. "You're missing out." He uttered back dryly, only barely getting the last few words out before Yuta interrupted.
"Uh... I hate to intrude on this lovely moment.. But what the fuck is going on?" He asked, the authority in his voice seemingly causing them all to flinch.
"WAY TO GO, THONGHICKUP. WAY TO GO.."
