Virgil's POV:

Ever since everyone has found out about my self harm, they've been watching me like a hawk. Especially Princey. Every time I pick up a sharp object to cut something, Roman takes it from me and says, "I'll do it." I can't even say "I'm fine" anymore because it doesn't have the same affect. They always ask me what's wrong and Roman doesn't leave me the fuck alone until he finds out what's wrong. I thought that opening up would help me, but it's making everything worse. I feel trapped. More trapped than before. And I don't know what to do.

Roman walks in my room and he closes the door. He walks over to me and sits down. "How are you doing?", he asks. Not this shit again!

I shrug. "I feel okay. Why?"

He strokes my cheek with his thumb. "Are you sure?"

I nod. "Yup. I'm positive." He's starting to get on my nerves.

He frowns. "That doesn't sound very convincing."

"Then make it sound convincing and leave me alone!"

He jumps back a little at my outburst. He lets out a sigh and says, "Okay. Virgil, something is obviously wrong. You can tell me what it is. I promise that I won't tell the others."

I curl my hands into fists. "You guys can leave me alone for two seconds, okay?! I hate being followed around throughout the whole entire day! I need some alone time! But I can't get that anymore because you fucking guys keep on bothering me! I wish that you guys would just leave me the fuck alone! So what if I cut myself? It doesn't matter! I don't matter! Nothing matters! Everything's going to turn into shit or die anyways, so what's the point of trying? What's the point to doing anything? Oh yeah! There is no point! We all live just so we can die! So we can live a life of pain and suffering just to end up forgotten!"

"I'll never forget you."

"But someday, no one will remember us! We'll be lost souls, having a past that no one remembers and a future that no one can bring! What's the point of trying- to make this stupid life worth it- if you're going to be forgotten and dead in the end?! Nothing has a point to it. Nothing has a meaning. In the end, everything we did doesn't matter. No one will remember your achievements because we'll all be dead."

Roman comes back over and takes my hands in his. "Virgil...life does have a point to it. The point of life is that we only have one and to make the best of it. To try to succeed in everything that we can and want to succeed in. To fulfill our bucket list. To make every dream we have come true. I know it's hard to make them come true, but it's possible. It's not impossible. It's improbable. But many people have completed it. Many people have lived the dream. Have lived their dream. Based on the choices you make and the good and bad that you do will decide if you have a good life or not. If you never give up and keep on pushing and trying, you can make your dreams come true. Yes, when you die, some people may not remember you, but life isn't being recognized by strangers for your achievements. Life is about making yourself and your loved ones happy and proud. Life is about making your dreams come true, no matter how hard and how silly they are. If you just open your eyes and let the world of possibility in, then you can do anything in the world. As long as you put your mind to it, you can do it. Sometimes you need lots of money to do what you want, but you can take different jobs to make that money. Them you can invest that money into what you really want to do. So yeah, everything won't turn out the way you want it, but some things will. And those little things are what we live for, Virgil."

I look up at Roman with tears in my eyes and I hug him. "Thank you, Princey. Thank you so much."

He hugs me back and says, "You're welcome, Virgil. Just remember that even in death, I'll always remember you and I'll always love you."

"I'll always remember and love you too, Roman."

And then we kiss.
