Quintus nudged his father's arm to wake him up. "Quickly Father, we are close the Rome and I can't wait to get to my new school! " he exclaimed, grabbing all of their supplies and dousing the fire. Flaccus slowly stood up and cracked his back, groaning.

"Alright my boy, let's get going. We need to find a place to stay. "

They reached the city of Rome in only a few hours of walking and still had time to find a place to stay.

Since they had little to no money, they ended up with an Attic apartment on the bad side of town. But they weren't complaining, after all, they could have had to sleep on the streets.

They went over to the docks and hopped in the rowboat that lead to the tiny island where Orbilius' School for Talented Boys resided.

Flaccus beat on the heavy wood door of the school's courtyard. An old (and most likely drunk) man opened the door and sneered, but let them in instructing them to go to the foyer. Heeding the man's advice, they went into the front hall to be greeted by none other than Master Orbilius himself. He was a short, knobby, angry man with a peg leg.

After Flaccus and Quintus signed all the necessary paperwork for Quintus' entry to the school, they rowed back home and went to sleep their first night in Rome in a dusty attic.
