Banished apprentices.

These two were the first ever personnel apprentices of Arceus. They were given the gift of infinite intellect and outstanding power...more than what a usual legendary would posses since their souls were created by their god. They got to witness firsthand the astonishing amazement of Arceus's power and creation and served a powerful purpose. Power and balance. The Mewtwo one name is Zernuk and the responsibility for Zernuk was to make sure who had enough power and capabilities every Pokemon could possibly posses and the intelligence to humans. The other one is Shift. He was responsible of Balance and peace between all living things possible. Arceus handle the rest of the heavy work. They both carried out their tasks well and effectively for light years. Until many years later they saw how rotten and other humans became to each other and even abusive to Pokemon! With their powers and souls becoming enraged they both took a liberty behind Arceu's back and wiped out half of the human population back in 607. Arceus saw this was unjust and immoral and their powers were taken for half a century. later in 1612 the same event happened twice and felt all life needed to cease to exist as they both knew and felt that lifeforms take ultimate advantage of their power and knowledge and posses more than they should. Zernuk convinced Shift that since the same event happened a second time it would repeat through history and limitless number of times. After their second attempt of wiping out half life Arceus banished them to the planet they saw that was so abusive and lost their roles but not their powers and gifts. He rested their lives in the dirt to help them feel shame and discipline...but they have awoken but a mysterious force perhaps their undying powers. This legend has been pasted since the first day of their triumph and is a everlasting story due to the tales of this event and drawings on ancient walls that have told this story many times before. They despise the earthly beings and it's evil nature of others. Zurnuk is arrogant so and will most likely be prideful about every station or even hesitant to speak with such lowlife mortals. Shift has a mix between kindness and rage. Although his powers are unchallenged he controls himself. If these two meet together the world may come under doomsday after all that time once again. Even though time is advanced along with technology and new breeds of Pokemon they still remain top god tier Pokemon. There is only one way to beat them without Arceus's help but is thought to be ultimately absurd. Many have sought out knowledge and power from them but have been hesitant and rejecting to let others in on whatever they find so invaluable from them. Don't expect finding them easy but if you do come across them you had better beg as hard as you can for anything you desire from them. They may also disguise themselves as the other humans and weak such as a Joltik, Eevee or any weak Pokemon that most could dominate. Weak Pokemon you wouldn't expect to come across just to get a grip on what they missed throughout their sleep. They also like they feeling of being worshiped so if you do that it will most likely put them in a good mood and listen to you.

Zernuk is dark purple instead of bright pink and eye's are smokey black with no visible pupils. If Zernuk is challenged Zernuk will laugh and teleport away as the battle is just a waste of time and no competition possible. Zernuk has also discovered man made copies of it's form and seeks these facilities and clones to end them all since it is the original. In fact that is why the so called Mewtwo was made in the first place...to repeat the original legend. Zernuk lives in a surveying void that is unreachable to any life form but roams around from time to time in random places so finding Zernuk is easier than Shift although it is less understanding and merciful...just depends on who treats him with respect.

Shift is curious to see how time evolved and would hope to see everyone is changed but if he is dissatisfied with the results he will wreak havoc with the remaining power he has without his demigod partner. He will be in the hardest to reach places ranging the hottest deserts and Volcano's. Coldest, tallest mountains and blizzards, Grassiest and wettest Forrest's. He may possibly be the only one who will grant you at least one wish and one only but that goes for any mortal. Just don't ask to be able to grant any power as that is out of his capabilities and intentions.
