"So, what's the plan Ce?" Ryder asked through the phone speaker

She was currently sitting on the roof with her legs dangling from above, along with scarlet who was still waiting for an explanation of what's going to happen

"You'll be receiving the call. The alpha called in the morning from what Ricardo told me but we we weren't around so he said that he should call later. Thing is, he won't know that it's me and you'll be using a voice amplifier, that way he'd have no chance to track you either, because we both know alphas have their sources. Anyhow, I'll be present in your mind and I'll take over if that's fine with you"She told him smiling sheepishly and he huffed

"Last time you caused my a massive headache when you did that Ce"he stated in annoyance and she chuckled

"Sorry Ryder, I'll be careful this time I promise"Marcelina assured and he scowled

"Knowing you, you're not sorry, and second of all, you'd take any chance you'd get to hurt me"he frowned and she rolled her eyes

"Quite the package yes? Quit your whining Ryder. This is business not a playground"She stated ignorantly and scarlet chuckled causing Ryder's breath to hitch

"Celine, who else is on the phone?"he asked in a date of full alert and she frowned

"Just scarlet. why?"he averted the camera to face scarlet and she smiled timidly

"Ce, we talked about this. You can't let strangers into this"he scowled and Marcelina glared once she saw Scarlett's hurtful expression

"And I think I made myself clear when I said scarlet is no stranger. What I say goes Ryder so if it bothers you, the door is open to leave. she is linked to me the same way you are, and she's a crucial member. just because shes not supernatural doesn't mean she can't kick your ass"she stated venomously and Ryder's lips formed into a thin line, holding his tongue from speaking anything to disobey his alpha, while scarlet smirked, sending her a grateful smile

"I'll see you after school"she stated in annoyance, pressing the end button and turning to face an annoyed scarlet

"I just don't get why they won't accept me. I get that I'm not some supernatural but I'm linked to you, meaning that I have half your powers and I can seriously kick some ass"she cracked her knuckles and Marcelina laughed

"Sweetheart we both know that you are left useless if my necklace is on, which is all the damn time. Anyhow, Ryder and the rest have a soft spot for you, however Ricardo doesn't like you around, leaving them all on edge" Marcelina groaned pulling at her hair strings and scarlet sighed

"Life was so much easier back in London"she stated with longing and Marcelina laughed

"Those two years scarred the whole damn city. I really don't blame them for kicking us out of the academy"she stated in amusement

"Hold up. Last I checked it was your fault for burning down some historical building in the heart of the city for gods sake. And got away with breaking the school statue and for getting me kicked out too although I just tagged along"scarlet glared and they both went full on laughing

"God we caused havoc"Marcelina shook her head in amusement

"We sure did"

Walking into the almost deserted pack house, since most people who lived here were teenagers and were currently at school, Luke skimmed the hallways for any sign of intruders before heading upstairs

"Got your text. What's going on?"he asked once he entered Michael's office shutting the door behind him

He's staying on his grounds for training, might as well be a part of it too. Micheal was sitting on his office chair while Elliot, Liam and ace sat on a couch, All the while Julian and mason sat on the other

Studying over the guys features crowding the room of both Michael's and his pack, he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion

"Some damn unknown newbies thought they could mess with us" ace seethed and Micheal laughed humorously

"Newbies? Newbies ace? Whoever is in this is no newbie"he spat out disgustedly and Luke furrowed his eyebrows in confusion before taking a seat next to mason

"Would someone explain what's going on? You guys talking in codes isn't gonna cut it so you might as well speak"Luke commanded and Micheal shot him a glare but otherwise didn't comment on the use of tone. Although he was on his grounds he was still an alpha, and Micheal knew he had to respect that

"This morning the guards found Edward on the outskirts of the territory in a bodybag, poisoned mercilessly, though still barely alive along with an antidote"Micheal explained through gritted teeth

"Who would do that?"

"Clearly some trained professionals, although I'm struggling to find out why they didn't kill him. It must be a warning of some sort"Micheal scoffed, placing his head in his hands "we're one of the strongest packs around the world and here we are running around like headless chickens about something as small as this"

Luke frowned. Micheal would usually attack straight away, yet he's assuming that his pack has been mistaken so he's struggling to find out what to do.

"Micheal what are you planning?"Luke asked and he sighed

"I can't do anything until we find out who's pack is that. Clearly it's our fault. The footage we caught states that Edward trespassed therefore the bounty is death. But I'm still not sure why they didn't kill him"Micheal pulled on his hair strings and Luke frowned while the others had puzzled faces

"What about the poison? Is it familiar? And the antidote?"Luke asked and mason tsked

"They're planning something. They've gotten leverage of some sort so they're letting him live. And they wouldn't send the antidote unless it was of no use to us for later"he frowned and Luke furrowed his eyebrows

A knock on the door silenced them all, whipping their heads towards the source

"Come in"Micheal yelled, watching as one of the territory guards walked in carrying a letter

"We found this on the border. We think it's important alpha"the guard stated calmly, clearly not fazed by the powerful aura in the room

Extending his hand, Micheal retrieved an envelope with a seal, confirming it as sent by an alpha. Opening the envelope, his fists clenched.

The words were mocking, insulting even, but the sender sent a shiver down his spine

"What is it?"Luke asked impatiently, and in a daze, Micheal handed him over the paper to read

Nice to see that you've been sending spies on my borders.

Now alpha, the antidote can't be broken down or identified as it is one of a kind, so I suggest you don't bother, but by all means, do waste your time on it

In the mean time, You're little spy won't be remembering anything, and my act of mercy was a warning.

Cross the line again, and the worst is yet to come, starting with Edward's loved ones

Crumbling the paper and dropping it to the ground, Luke froze, looking back Micheal who mirrored the same expression

The rose blood shadow pack was the most ruthless and feared pack in the world. Following a different dilemma, vampires were also welcome, as opposed to what other packs have in mind. They're members are unknown, yet the name itself shook the person to the core. No allies are known to support them, believing that it is a weakness. And powerful enemies are known to be whipped out with no trace or scent, so the current fear they're sporting at the moment was quite justified

"What have we gotten ourselves into?"
