Chapter 3

Akane's POV

(12 years ago)

I swung as I knocked the stick out of mommy's hand.

Akane: " Haha- Did you see that mommy! Do you see that! I did it! I did it! "

Mom: " Hehe. You've did wonderful sweetheart. "

Akane: " Yea! " I cheered as I ran to hug mommy. When I did she rubs my head.

Mom: " You know, you might already be stronger then, me and your father combine. "

Akane: " Really. Hehehe. "

Mom: " ...but, you have to remember sweetie... " She bends down and puts both hands on my shoulders. " No matter what happens, the people comes first before you... You think you can remember that for mommy. "

Akane: " Um-mmm, I'll remember. "

Mom: " Good girl. Now, let's get some ice-cream. "

Akane: " Yea! " I ran out the training room and outside as mommy followed from behind.

(Present)

I sat up and looked at the window.

Akane: Why that memory of all things?

Rin: " Akane!!! " As I'm walking to school I stop and turned around to see Rin running and stops beside me, exhausted.

Akane: " Oh, hey Rin. Why were you- "

Rin: " I thought you were still sleep! "

Akane: " Oh... Today I just got up early and you know. " I said looking the other way.

Rin: " You should've at least call me and say- "

Akane: " Don't you remember. I don't have a phone. " She looked at me ignored.

Rin: " You know... You're a real piece of work. "

Akane: " I'm a piece of what? "

Rin: " *Sigh*... Let's go shopping after school today. "

Akane: " Okay. "

(Lunch)

After grabbing the tray and sitting down. I started eating all in a while, thinking about my dream.

Rin: " Hey! " I looked up at Rin as she looked at me worried. " You seemed spaced out today. What's up? Is there something wrong? "

Akane: " Umm... Well... Me and my mom aren't getting along at the moment. "

Rin: " Oh... You two got into a fight? " I nodded.

Akane: " It's nothing big but... I don't know. Not only that, I woke up from a dream of one of my childhood memories of her and me. "

Rin: " Well, from what I know is that you're really worried about your mom but, the very first thing that eating you away is the fact that you two had a fight. Let me guess. You two didn't make up didn't you? " I looked down. " Then, it's simple. Just apologize. " I looked at her. " Nope, don't give me that. It doesn't matter who was in the wrong. It matters that you tow make up and apologize, and the one that has to apologize is you. " She said pointing at me.

Akane: " Thanks Rin. I'll do that. "

Rin: " No problem. What friends are- " We both heard a trash can falling from the right side of the cafeteria. We turned like everyone else to see one of the girls covered in trash while the other four girls laughed at her.

Akane: " Who are those four? "

Rin: " Why am I not surpise that you dont know. Rachel, Brittany, Tiffany and Naomi. They where just transfered here from America yesterday. "
